Captain America: Civil War

You know what's so awesome! Full daylight battles...i appreciate that so much in these types of films.

Its like...they want you to see things. Its funny how DC is exactly the opposite of Marvel. Has there been any fight scenes in the dark, during a rain storm for a marvel movie?

Im so pumped for this movie, Im bummed all the Cinepolis seats were sold out. Now Im going to have to wait in line like a sucker.

In fairness, Batman only comes out at night.

The climactic battles of Iron Man and Iron Man II are both at night... but we could still see everything. There was some night-time action in the first Cap film. Jotunheim, in Thor, seemed to be a realm of perpetual twilight. The MCU has had it's share of non-daylight battles, but we can still see what's going on. DC is just obscuring everything in grimdark, a substance known to cause murky lighting problems.

Daylight

That's all I got... I think because that's all there is... ;)

No offense and I'm certainly not knocking the film, but I think they should have saved the Civil War storyline for a later phase of the films. I'm not saying the film won't be good now with the numbers, but let's face it, they might as well title the film Captain America: Gang Fight because the number of people involved. Just comparing the number of people involved in the comics and the number of people in the film, to paraphrase Deadpool, it's almost as if Marvel Studios ran out of money for more superheroes.

Exactly! muddled is not what I think of when I see Marvel action flicks...
I'm very excited for this one. Everything has been on track, even AOU was acceptable for setting up the world which will be CIVIL WAR...

I hope Sony can help this Spider-Man out when he arrives in his own film. I get the feeling Sony will drop the ball and Spideys only shining moment will be in Civil War

Given how many of the actors' contracts are (supposedly) coming up, and with the (presumed) scale that Infinity War will be, this is actually the perfect time for it. Things need to be shaken up, especially with what happened in Age of Ultron. Let this film shake things up, we get a few individual films, and then things start off in a rocky place for Infinity War.

I thought Marvel was going to more or less run the Sony movie and let them slap their name on it.

That is what the arrangement sounds like, particularly after what Feige said recently:
http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/...els-role-in-sonys-upcoming-spider-man-reboot/

Sony is paying the bills but the creative decisions are being made by Marvel Studios. I've always believed that Sony maintaining 'final creative control' mentioned in the press release was simply a procedural thing the Sony business execs and lawyers required in exchange for paying for the film production, sort of like an insurance policy in case Marvel screws this up. After Feige's comments I think fans can breathe easier and know that the Spidey film is in the right hands.

Totally off topic to the current discussion, but a thought about Civil War none-the-less.

The more I see it, the more I enjoy the new Ant-Man look. The first Ant-Man helmet reminds me of a South Park character.. The eyes, and the proportions.. They just throw me off too much. This new helmet is very nice.

The rest of the character redesigns seem to be pretty nice. Would have preferred the MK 45 helmet style to the new one, but definitely won't affect my enjoyment of the movie. Panther is on point.

Just watched a B-roll on youtube. Watching Black Panther drop into one of his stances and his fighting style etc. Looks like it's going to be one of those "oh yes" moments. He looks awesome.

The level of consistent quality delivered by Marvel is literally a marvel to behold. REALLY excited after reading many of the reviews, nearly all of them highlighting how the success of the film is driven by the CHARACTERS ( get that DC/Warner) and their conflicting personalities and goals. Cannot wait!!!!

I just think this movie is going to be epic. Again I would love to see someone like RDJ win an Oscar for his performance in a movie like this.
