Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

I had a look at the Cortlands on ebay. They look great but £405 plus delivery seems a bit steep for me. If I was in the mood to lay out that kind of cash then for an extra £100 I could get Dita, or JMM models. That's no contest for me

Do you have a reference picture of him wearing this frame (above) that you have ID'ed?

It's just I only have these 2 images of him wearing a different pair of asymmetrical frames...

The closest match I could find for my 2 images so far, were possibly Tom Archer 43□26 140...

I'm not 100% on these Tom Archer and should really look into it a bit further o_O

My bad, I mustve imagined them in a tortoise color.

(Fun Fact: Did you know Hideo Kojima wears JF frames?)

Those Tom Archer frames have the same specs of the Ali Express Frames. So I'm a little vary myself.

Good news is the colors are quite varied, so you could pick up a clear aliexpress pair for less than $10 or various other crystal / tortoise colors.

I had 2 super cheap pairs from ebay from a while back, but the arms fell off the first pair.
20201017_102526.jpg
They have sprung plastic hinges and the metal screw eventually just eats through the plastic hinge.
20201017_102348.jpg
Wouldn't expect any thing less from a $5 frame!! Lol.

The grey Tom Archer's have what look to be reasonable quality metal hinges (not sure if the Aliexpress frames have them too, I hope they do!!)...

Speaking of grey frames, found some Warby Parker Dorset's...

On the topic of Warby's, My Cass 200 were at a bit of a loose end, as I used the light blue lenses from them for the 353 that I got later. So I hit the 200's up with some gradient purple...

My Warby Parker mini collection...
Eaton 328
Cass 200
Dorset 357
Cass 353
(Arthur 710 pending, lol)

And some random WB "Begley" 200 that I scored for free :D(y) after finding them inside of a WB box, case and pouch cloth combo purchase. (A quick internet search and I think they are in the Joaquin Phoenix movie "Her"??).

Been making lenses today for more Oliver Peoples.
Found some Oliver Peoples O'Malley OV5183 1552 47□22 145 and put some light purple lenses in...

They are a bit too similar though to my Oliver Peoples Gregory Peck's posted earlier, so I'm going to change the purple lenses on the GP's soon.

Also found some Oliver Peoples Ennis OV5264-S 1031/52 48□20 140 and put some mid red lenses in...

Is this a real model? Is the bridge strange?

Anyone know the glasses on his new post?

Also unrelated ro the new IG Post... I'm not sure if this has been confirmed or not but didn't Downey wear the WP Chamberlain in clear?

I SWEAR he has but I could be wrong, someone let me know. :)

Thought I'd share some pics of my Giorgio Armani AR7049 5290 53□16 140, as I've just put in some custom lenses...

Not to be confused with their big brother - "matching style" sunglasses variant AR 8067. Same 5092 color code, but in larger size 53□19 140...

Part of the "Frames of Life" collection, as is the much previously mentioned AR8060 5402/R5 sported by Thor in Endgame...

Not too difficult to find and got some on ebay at a great price...

If he rotates his extensive eyewear collection, we may not see them again for a few years!! Lol.

Although so inexpensive it can't be denied that all 4 of those frames do look really good, and certainly "classier" than their price tag.
I've just ordered a purple/lilac hoodie for the same colour match idea.
I'm just considering buying the green lens version right now
