always love a pair of JMM, (not RDJ related) but I just picked up a pair of the Taos in Fade, loving them, plus you gotta love the packaging/cleaning cloth

Not really a Tony Stark related post but I'm sure you'll like it.
Watching Pacific Rim Uprising (I'll let you judge the movie quality by yourself) on TV a few weeks ago, I saw Charlie Day's glasses that I failed to ID when the movie came out. This time, it only took me minutes as I noticed the Paul Smith "dots" on a close-up shot.
Because for some reason I really like Charlie Day, I decided to get them, they're Paul Smith Hadrian in Champagne (1040) and got them on eBay for a very reasonable price. Jason made my lenses and they're beautiful and pretty spot on !!
They remind me of Gio's NDG-1 (below), and you can tell they're from the same collection as the Padfields, here's a shot of RDJ wearing those in comparaison, they clearly belong to the same family right ?
They came with pink stock lenses that seemed pretty cool, see for yourself on ebay if you're interested. They're definitively a great addition to my collection and the pleasure is double when you IDed them yourself

Love them. I’ll be wearing a bunch for sure Top notch quality as expected from JMM. It’s a very bold style that gets attention. Not for everyone. The Vintage Tort in the Ascari is beautiful also.

On topic, been trying to ID these...
Classic 60's styling with subtle undertones of the vintage Solex and Marwitz frames I mentioned earlier - (which is what sent me off looking in the wrong place for vintage frames).
I think I've just ID'ed them...
Jacques Marie Mage Beauregard Altman JMMBE54 50□17 141, but with what look like custom lenses.
The Altman gold frame though, is described as "silver frame with gold top bar" on JMM website??) - Limited production batch of 450 pieces...
The RDJ images aren't that good when zoomed in and in addition to the lighting, it's really hard to 100% rule out that there definitely isn't any silver on those frames, as seemingly, the Beauregard comes in 4 models, the only next realistic closest match being...
Metal JMMBE2B (gold frame with silver top bar)...
Limited production batch of 400 pieces...
I've also looked back through the thread and don't think these were ID'ed/mentioned either, from one of his dancing around videos...
So thought I'd have a go...

Just thought it might be fun to look back at one of my favorite pairs from the MCU. The Matsuda M2002 in brown/gold. I’m currently having a pair of these done with the amethyst lens in my prescription. I will post pics upon completion.
This pair features the beautiful brown gradient lens. It is new and only worn for a few photos.

I get it. This is my third pair in that style. I have another brown/gold that I’m getting the amethyst in, and the black/silver as well. Love Matsuda.
