Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

I saw them in that youtube video about tony stark frames and you could see them in this color for about three seconds at the end, I instantly fell in love. I think they’re becoming my favorite evening frame for a while, I love that color combination

Finally finished my Oliver Peoples Sheldrake 1187/52 (DTBK)...

The lens color is guessed, but when worn, IMO, skin tone and mainly "shadowing" brings the color just about perfect.

There are lots of reference pictures out there to use, but if you look at these pictures, the lenses will obviously be slightly darker with skin tone, but looking at the right lens in particular, IMO it's "shadowing" (of the frame, arm and lens itself, back on to the face) that creates most of that area of darker light purple...

It's all just guess work though, who knows!!
Maybe someday the actual exact color and "creator" will be revealed!!

I can finally put aside my super cheap replicas (sub $10) first attempt from years ago!..

Haha, it's been a long creative process! Lol.

If anyone is interested, these are the donor lenses I used...

Sorry for the long post and possibly heavy images ;)
Thoughts on what these are, kids?

One intensive search session later, I think I can help you:
First things first, it comes from the 2014 BAFTA

I found another pic from the same evening on gettyimages:

Zoom in, high luminosity and the iconic Paul Smith « dots » appear:

From there, it was quite easy to find out that they were Paul Smith PM8231U Padfield in clear/champagne ;)

They're close but not the same; the premiere edition has clear bottoms and black tops while the movie version is flipped with clear tops and black bottoms.
Oh yeah, I see now. I totally missed the colours where flipped. Must of flipped them back in my head lol.

Sometimes they do a holiday sale where you can enter a promo code, so get on their mailing list and keep up to date with their promos.
Yep, sure am. I've noticed plenty of sales though, but mostly targeted at specific lines, or when they are more site wide, the fine print says "excludes police collaboration" :(.
Will keep waiting though :)

At $250 (until June 26th), the new clear and black Police Collaboration is a deal.
I doubt they'll ever be any less, even on sale.

Seriously, fantastic job! Love what you did with these.
