Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

But has he confirmed or acknowledged the possibility that it was this limited edition model featured in the movie ?

I doubt it. With the whole pandemic going on they said the initial release in black were going to release during the IM2 anniversary but that didnt happen.

And their plan was a rerelease in black so I doubt it.

It is my understanding that the British Steel previous version was 53mm, the two new versions are going to be 57mm and an oversized 59mm.

Thought I'd post some pics of the Cazal 352.

My first impressions were that they are a bit smaller than I thought they would be, as I had imagined the "visual width" with those patterned temples, would look really quite big and wide.

These things are seriously crazy, but for that reason and also because of the rare vintage aspect, I really like them.



They've really grown on me, I know it probably sounds weird, but the more I've worn them, the more "normal" they are starting to feel!!

I'm thinking they might look more at home matched with a very loud Hawaiian shirt!!

Stripped down prior to servicing and cleaning...


I would say that the size is great, but to give a rough idea where they lie size wise, I've pictured them next to OG Bromley's and M2002's for reference...


The lenses against a white backround for color reference...

When I got the measuring tape out, it looks like the lens size of 58mm must have been measured diagonally across the lens, between its widest edges.


The correct Easter Bunny suit to go with?...Lol!!


Also, my green 6115's arrived, somehow ahead of the yellow which haven't...

I got both my green and orange "yellow" plds. I even got the other skinnier rectangular plds and the phone, calc and the whiskey glasses along with both DTBK pairs.

I have Thor Labs, India Sils, Rayfords, Kilmonger and blue matsuda glasses on the way with those other skinny orange plds?

As well as the tour shirt tony wore.

I think the PLDs are slightly polarized if not completely. Check out your pair by putting it to a screen and see how it darkens when turned sideways.

These might be my first pair of lightly tinted polarized eyewear and I LOVE that this is a thing.

Only caus it’s stark only eyewear on their lot, and their knowledge of Paul Smith shawfords and chief ragnarok I’ve only seen on this group! Was gona ask Manchester007 where his name came from too? Thought he was gona be from England, not Canada

Finally got the Von Zippers in today, they are a lot nicer in person, they have a "translucent" type frame to them which I hadn't been able to pick up on pictures prior. At least for now, I think my Tony Stark sunglasses collection has come to a close.

I might be stating something that somebody already noticed but I didn't see anything about it anywhere else and going through 200+ pages of discussion is pretty intimidating.
I've noticed there appears to be two different versions of these sunglasses, a red variant and a black variant.
The difference is on the sides of the front part, right next to the chrome accent.
Also, the red ones are translucent with VZ written on some of the checkers while the black ones seem to be opaque without the VZ writings.
It seems like they used the black ones in the movie but I'm not all too sure about all this and would like to know what you all think.

Hey everyone! I'm on a quest to collect a pair of glasses for each Avenger. I have a pair for each character except for Romanoff. I know I dont have any for Hulk Either but those are readily available and I dont plan on focusing my money towards stuff still in stock.

So.... if you can help me ID Romanoff's shades shown here... I can slowly move toward my smug comment of "I actually own eyewear from EVERY of the original 6 Avengers that were in the MCU.

Also... as a fun dorky thing, which glasses from each avenger would represent each stone. Obviously RDJ and Banner, Rodgers, have variety as they've all worn atleast 2 pairs of eyewear. Not sure about the others.
