Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Picked up some bargain priced Paul Smith Devonshire in matt black (PM8233 1465/87) and made some custom lenses to try to match up...

Speaking of lenses, after two attempts to try to get my 2430's lens color correct from early screencaps last year -(until recently, the best guess was that they were gradient brown)
1st attempt last year (darker gradient)...

2nd attempt (slightly lighter gradient)...

- I caved on my usual lens DIY and bought the REAL DEAL from the ultimate lens professional!!

In 58mm with screen accurate "two tone" AR (anti reflective) movie lenses, from Tanya of Propspecs.

If you are fortunate enough to own the 2430's, then you've absolutely gotta have these lenses!! Wow!!

The lenses are awesome and Tanya's special AR coating is amazing...any reflections are so muted and minimal, it's easy to see why it's needed in film making and why Marvel approached Tanya for her eyewear expertise...the rest is history:D

It's so cool to think she also hand picked all of the stylish frames we all now know and love (and have all spent ages ID'ing and hunting them down to buy. Lol!).

Tanya is so wonderful, helpful and nice, I'd 100% recommend her lenses to everyone (y)(y)(y):D, not just for the 2430's, but for all of the iconic frames and lenses that Tanya has famously brought to the big screen!!

Even though, born out of sheer necessity, I've learnt how to hand craft my own lenses over the years, it goes without saying, that ultimately, 100% screen accurate lenses are most certainly going to add even MORE value to your super rare and sought after frames!

I'll still continue to make my own lenses if and when I need to, but I've gotta go back for more screen accurate lenses from Tanya at Propspecs!!:D

The sun is out and my 2430's are going on - all day!!(y)
I'll go through all 5 stages of joy!!

Thank you Tanya:love:

Might have been asked already, but is anyone ‘wingedseph’ on eBay on this group? Only caus it’s stark only eyewear on their lot, and their knowledge of Paul Smith shawfords and chief ragnarok I’ve only seen on this group! Was gona ask Manchester007 where his name came from too? Thought he was gona be from England, not Canada
Manchester united is my favorite team Soo.. Lol

So how much are tanyas ‘movie’ lenses? They sound expensive! Haha

I modded another pair of the diors I had. Black top and kept the burgundy bottom. I wish my college wasnt shut down so I could show them next to the modded tort (now black) I had before they evacked the whole uni. I dont even have my Strathmores... I left them behind.

The black is similar to the modded tort but I used more thinner on this pair making it a much lighter coat. What do guys think?
