Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Warby Parker Eaton's came today, (second hand with prescription lenses...tried them on and could almost make out the moon landing site).

So all serviced, tightened and cleaned up like brand new, with some new homemade light blue lenses...

...sourced from some fake huge 006's I had stored away in a box ..

Lenses are probably still a bit on the blue side, but hey!

Apologies for the t-shirt too!!

Make sure you call Otticanet before placing an order or you'll be waiting for nothing. They do this thing where they take orders but refund those who cant be supplied.

I called and got a slot but please dont disappoint yourself in waiting or you'll suffer like I did with 2 pairs of Tom Fords. :/

I have several pairs of those knock off frames for 99 cents each for parts. They saved my corsairs when I lost a screw for them and saved my All Ins when mine came in with popped nosepads. They have the silver metal nosepads but I'm thinking of swapping mine out for the gold ones just for style points.

Sweet I’ll post mine when I get them with the blue lens

Forgot to drop some pics of my Thorlabs LG3's...

Funny how they are sold as "orange", when they are a lot more red in person.

These were kindly posted by Wolfshire...

...but I'm having a lot of trouble finding these amongst the thousands of safety/welding glasses out there.

They do have specific looking details on them, any thoughts??

Tanya posted a pic of some yellow lensed versions on her instagram if it’ll help you out. I tried looking for them too to no avail :(

the key details are how the lensespoke above the brows and how they’re integrated as the hinges, plus adjustable arms but that’s pretty usual for safety glasses. Let us know if you find anything!

Might as well have every single piece of eyewear!!

I was just stoked by the rpf shoutout, that was so cool! :D

Unrelated though I found the safety glasses from IM and they are 3M SX1000 safety glasses. Discontinued (because of course) but you may be able to find some on eBay.

For those interested in having a complete IM eyewear collection (inc. Thorlabs and 2 types of safety glasses) - might as well have them considering the Gunnar PPK's were used as safety glasses!!..
...possibly, the last piece of IM worn eyewear...

With the brightness turned right up, I think the safety glasses above are...
20200316_152305.png

...Uvex Protege S4200HS clear safety glasses.
(Also known as Honeywell Protege 1028130)

It looks like they come in a shorter angular lens shape too..

The longer lens version seems to match..

The nose bridge design matches, as does how the lenses come away from the frame at the sides (I think they call it a "floating" lens). The nose pads match up too.

They seem to come with a few different nose pad versions, shown here...

But the nose pad version below matches up..

As for out of production frames I just need the Shawfords and the RMs. I have them in the wrong color sadly. I snagged both those goggles and that new pair of Cortlands on Ebay. I swore they were listed multiple times so I hope I don't get scammed....

Did you not get your Cortlands yet?
