006's arrived today!!!

I've blanked out the serial no. on the box, 'cos I have to register them with Dita.
The roll up case is a bit weird (but still stylish), if I take them outside, I think I'll be putting them in a hard case for more protection!
So for anyone's reference, I though it would be a good opportunity to share my quick and honest comparison of the 006's with the Magnoli's.
They seem the same in size and looks.
I don't think there would be many outside of our thread, that could even notice the difference.

It wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that as the lenses look so alike, they probably would be able to be swapped over....I'll probably carefully try this at some point, to see how accurate the sizes are.
On my (probably not that accurate) Salter digital kitchen scales, the 006's are 24g and the Magnoli's come in at 20g.
The initial small differences when looked at quite close are:
The nose pad holder arms emanate from the main frame differently....

...and the gold nose pads on the 006's are longer and "fixed", whereas the Magnoli's are shorter, shaped different and have a gentle "rattle" in the pad holder - (the same nose pad rattle as my M3023's! - maybe my Matsuda's need tightening!)
The 006's smoke palladium frame color is slightly darker than the more shiny and polished frame on the Magnoli's.

The nose bridge is shaped more rounded on the 006's.
The brow bar is thicker and protrudes further outwards off the frame front on the 006's.

The lenses are slightly more convex on the Magnoli's.
The blue transparent lens rim inserts are a bit more blue on the Magnoli's, more noticable when held up to the light.
Finer, less noticable details that are different:
The hinge screws.
The diamond pressed details.
Obviously, the various model etchings and markings.
One thing I did notice, is that the 006's smoke grey palladium frames seem to pick up fingerprints etc. fairly easily when handled, compared to the Magnoli's, which don't seem to need as much attention from the polishing cloth.
This may just be down to me being a lot more nervous handing the 006's! Lol.
In the same vein as Mosley Tribes Bromley's v Initium 3000's, overall, the Magnoli frames really do hold up well against the 006's and with them being also in titanium, IMO are amazing value, especially with the polarized lenses and the polished wooden FFH style box.
I'm really pleased to own both pairs.

That said, my wallet is worried I've now caught the Dita bug....no known cure!!
Now it's time to sort out which avenue to go down for the light blue lenses!
