Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Hey not stark related but I've been busy working on a Dita project it was a bit nerve racking messing with $750 frames but I'm pretty happy with the results. I took 2 brand new mach ones stripped them down to the nuts and bolts and pretty much swapped everything including screws. I also had to get Dita brown Gradient Lenses for one of the frames.

Looking on lots of different ebay countries or eyewear sites in different currencies seems for me to pay off, providing they agree to ship to you! Lol.

What are you using to find them from other countries ebay won't display items for me that won't ship to Canada

If you use the ebay app on your phone or tablet you normally can't see items that don't offer shipping to your country.
If you use a PC and go on another countries ebay via google but without signing in to ebay, the ebay "system" then shouldn't really know who you are - (Yet).
It nearly always shows me items that wouldn't normally show on your own countries ebay.
It should display all listings in the currency for that country.

I then find an item - it usually says "cannot be posted to you". I add it to my watch list, at which point you are prompted to sign in.
After signing in, the item is in my watch list, then I contact the seller to ask nicely if they can amend their listing to do international shipping. 8 times out of 10 they'll agree!!
It's just a thing I try that helps widen searches, cast a bigger net, so to speak!!

Just realised, if we've all got big "nets", I'll never find burgundy Bromley's now!!

Seriously though, happy to help!:D.....only need a few more frames now to complete!

We all had a shot at the burgundy bromleys we all blew it because they went for $1300!!!! If we could've pooled our cash together we could've done it! Like Cap said.... Together.

Would we then all have "shared custody" of the Brommies? Lol!!
I would opt then, for visitation and custody on the weekends!! Sweet!

Here's something I've been working on, a more detailed IM eyewear list.
Wolfshire gets the credit of the original list mind, I just added in some extra info. etc.

Apologies for the lack of image quality, they are Word docs. changed to jpegs via Photoshop, so there is a bit of loss in definition, not sure how they will look on here...I'll sort it later.

I wanted a definitive "all info." list to put into an expensive leather presentation folder to compliment my collection. Hopefully, I can get the leather folder embossed or debossed with a "Stark Industries" silver or gold logo.

From a collectors perspective, I thought it would be wise to have a "physical" information resource to add value to my collection.

It could be used to verify any frames authenticity and movie accurateness in the event (If I ever) wish to sell! Lol, as if!!

I also decided to add in any "alternative re-creations", which if manufactured on a limited or numbered run, also will appreciate in value.

It's only an early "Word docs." draft (still ongoing) and I'll be getting some help with the "artwork and design" aspect..my Word docs. and Photoshop skills are limited!
I mainly just wanted to get as much info. down as possible!!

I'm still working on the "foreword and introduction" section for the first page of my leather bound folder - It's below, but the grammar needs a lot of tweaking yet, so does the font, graphics etc.

I'm also still working on photos of each frame, alongside pics referencing each movie and scene in which they feature, all to go into the folder.

This is where you, the IM eyewear experts come in!! Please if you can check the info. and if anything is incorrect or missing please let me know.

When I have a final version I will post on here for all to print off and use, or even for you to add to make it even better!!

Fantastic work!
Thanks man!
I've just updated the foreword a bit, it's still just an ongoing draft at the moment! Haha :D

I'm still looking for a leather folder and I think I'm going to go with black, with silver debossed Stark Industries logo.

Slightly off topic, but, for anyone's reference, here's a super quick basic "mini guide" of the Mosley Tribes Bromley colorway range.

the list above was really helpful because of course in the years I made my own list of the frames I wanted to buy, and it made me realize that in my list I was missing the paul smith cortland, so thank you so much! in case anyone is wondering, the others I like and I still miss are the fulton, the silhoulette allure 8141 and the paul smith walton that are not in any movie but I think we all know them anyway.

did anyone see yesterday initium put a new possible british steele in blue in their instagram stories? they put them with clear lenses since I think it is just an idea at the moment, but I'm already thinking about possible custom lenses to put in case

They look great!!

I have the tortoise British Steel's.
I want to make them gloss black horn, to be screen accurate.
They have no markings at all on the main acetate frame - (the model etc. is on the metal arm).
So, I've stripped them down to just the main acetate frame and removed the top silver brow bar detail by removing the screws. The side arm details come off too, by also removing the screws.

So I'm now left with 3 bits of tortoise acetate that I'm going to find a process to recolor them.

Probably something that dyes them in gloss black permanently, rather than a painting process.

Great job ! I wanted to do that myself for a while and I guess, this is what it'd have looked like. Though, and I admit this is a very small detail (but I'm sure you want this to be perfect), you labeled one of your possible Outdoorsmans II as RB3030, and as you probably know, the 3029 are the Outdoorsman II and the 3030, the classics. Hope that help a little. Also, I never noticed the B&L logo on some shots, do you have screenshots of that ?

Feedback on the accuracy of the info. is exactly what we all need;) Please keep it coming!!!

The Outdoorsman's IMO, I suppose could be any of the 3 with the sweat bar cut off.
I didn't want to rule any of them out, as I'm not 100% certain.
They technically could be original B&L's, the glass etched B&L logo would be really hard to spot.
They probably are 3029's or even at an absolute push, the 3030's with the cable temples swapped for normal ones.(The 3030's being a long shot and least likely frame!).

The lens size is also hard to pinpoint with total accuracy.

I would love if we could all finally narrow these down 100%, to 1 pair & 1 lens/frame size.

3 frames in the "raid" section looks soo untidy!! Lol.

Collectively, what do we all think??
I would have an educated guess at 3029's in 58mm:unsure:

You're welcome !

I think they're 58mm too. 62mm would, I think, look bigger on RDJ. The only problem is that I honestly don't think there are any 3029's in 58mm out there. So if they're 58mm, they're most likely 3030's with swapped temples or a vintage frame that might have been produced with these features. There are so many Ray-Ban's out there, it's difficult to find some info about it.
Actually, I gave myself the mission this winter to buy 3030's, swap the temples and put Drivewear lenses in them.
