I think you are right.
My 3029 Outdoorsman II's are in 62mm.
There may be a slight possibility they may not even be Ray Bans.
Maybe before taking the plunge on the 3030's, just check the cable temples can indeed be swapped.
I had some Randolph Engineering aviators (bought 2nd hand), with cable temples.
My plan was to remove the cable temples and replace with straight clear bayonets, except, when removed, the metal ends of the temple arms were totally different, so I had to sell the frames on.

Well I was thinking about changing the entire temples from the hinges, I don't think this is gonna be a problem as Ray Bans are pretty standard.
About the fact that they could possibly not be Ray Bans.... I prefer not to think about it at all lol

You mentioned the 8141's...
In addition to the well known shots above previousy posted, it looks like the Silhouette's were also originally in the filming of this AOU scene too, they must of re-shot the scene again without them.
Such a shame the 8141's never featured more in the final cut, other than a glimpse of being already folded up.
Guess they thought they just looked too extreme!

Keitel almost always wears some kind of Persols and those look really similar to the chunky arrowless phase they went through in the late 80s to early 90s a la Jack Nicholson and Miami Vice. So my guess is vintage Persols?

I was speaking to Jason about these yesterday. The British Steel has been refreshed and Marvel have used them in their upcoming Disney+ shows. They were originally 53mm and will now come in a 57mm and 59mm option with guitar pick temples as well as new colourways, including original tort and black horn from Iron Man 2 and iridescent red. They will be available March 2020.

wow, that sounds great! now I’ll have to choose which size and color, it won’t be easy to decide if 57 or 59 fit my face better without trying

Same! Will definitely snag a pair of those and the OG tort ones now that they will be available in 59mm. I tried the original British Steel frames on when I caught up with Jason and they were way too small for my head.

Hopefully, it looks like Jason is working his way around revamping his eyewear "classics".
When he gets around to re-creating London Calling red havana, he will have my complete and undivided attention!!
Originals seem so hard to find, even looking at them gives me mild palpitations!! Lol.

Another high price! Wow!
Stark frames seem to be really taking off now!!
In light of another "high price", I was thinking of adding in my collection presentation folder, a way to help indicate and hint at the entire collection's total value.
I'll put in the original RRP of each frame, plus these recent examples of high "sold for" prices.
I'm sure every member here will agree, it hasn't just been the task of ID'ing the frames in the first place, but actually finding them!
The time it takes to search, can seem like an endless mission and be an every day task for years!!....that's where, IMO, any prospective sale of my frames would justifiably have to be high, to reflect not just the "rarity", but the immense amount of time and dedication needed to aquire them!
I'm also going to start adding in my folder, photos of each of the 35 frames, plus the screen shots where they are featured.
I also toyed with the idea of having a 1 to 35 "rating" based on their screentime appearances.
At a guess, as an example:
Silver All-in's would be No.1
No.35 for least time, would be either, OP Strathmore's, 8141's or GL Canal's.
I really don't relish the idea of sitting in front of the TV with a stopwatch though!!

I like the idea of giving them a number, but that'd require to have all of them haha, and I'm not quite there yet

I think Gotmeth has some too in silver. They're really clean for second hand, clear nose pads and not a scratch on the lenses. And I got them for about 60$ here in France (so more than 10 times less than the brown ones on eBay, and for the silver frame).
Wasn't a super fan of them at first, but this was too good to snooze.
They're soon gonna have new lenses so I'll keep you posted.

I have a pair of the 55s and 58s. I'm thinking about getting my 55 lenses changed to the movie lenses and keeping my 58s the stock lens.

Great idea!
If they are vinyl then they might eventually start to come off with wear though.
That said, I suppose that would take lots of wear!
You could just buy plently and keep replacing when and if necessary, or apply the decal and give a quick spray of clear lacquer on to the temple tip and decal to "seal" it on.
I need to "re-do" my Bromley's MT temple tip logo too. I was thinking of removing the tip and carefully and laboriously masking out an MT logo myself
, then spray painting it on.I think your decal idea is much better!!
Let me know or post pics if you get any!
The Bromleys have different color temple tip MT logos depending on the colorway too.
