Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Did any of you guys bought the Dita Flight 006 with “Avengers” lenses from luxuryeyesite.com? Do you have any pictures you can share?

First off, thanks to everyone in this thread for your remarkable detective work. You've saved me so many hours of searching.

I produce internet videos for a living. After falling down the Tony Stark sunglasses rabbit hole I've decided to offset my crippling eyewear debt by producing a short documentary about eyewear in the MCU. I'll be interviewing some of the people who make the stuff (like Jason at Initium, naturally), but I'd also love to get some fan commentary as well. If you have a particularly rare set, a great story, or complete collection, I'd love to hear from you.

You have my number. We're thinking about heading up to NYC soon.

I was thinking, does everyone think that the purple Matsuda lens from the super bowl preview is the same purple as the Dior? I was watching Endgame tonight and I think it looks similar.

Yeah it's definitely a similar shade, though I do think they are a lot lighter in tint than the Matsuda's.
As we mentioned before, skin tone plays a big part in the overall appearance.
Trial and error showed me that matching up lenses to the same as how they look "on screen", only ended up darker when actually worn.

IMO it would be better to go lighter than what you see "on screen".

This is the superbowl lens lying on top of the Dior's...it's quite dark already against a white background and will only go darker when worn.

The other lens is a gradient pink that I put in just for the time being.
When I put my superbowl's on, especially indoors, they go quite dark, almost hiding your eyes completely.

I think if you took the superbowl Matsuda's to an Optician and asked them to show you some lighter lens examples of the same shade, they wouldn't be too far off.

We're currently working on the EDITH sunglasses from End Game/Far From Home and we're thinking of offering these in different colored lenses. The standard model will be a smokey blue-grey... but we were thinking of also offering a more bold blue and possibly a third color (possibly another color from a previous film)? Any ideas/suggestions?

i got my Givenchy frames today. i got them in black instead of the tortoise. i really like them. im hoping RDJ wears some cool frames at D23 this weekend

So, after previous discussions about the Dior lens color, I was looking at this screencap....with cap! Lol!...they look quite light...

I decided on a very light purple I found in a pair of aviators (after ages of looking around), and decided to put them in some 53mm Dior's.
Apologies for the pic fest!!

Please don't just think it's a Dremel hack job! The Dremel is just to quickly get the basic shape...it's a time consuming perfectionist process kinda thing lol!

As it is light purple, it definitely takes on a more darker and slightly pink "tinge" with skin tone behind it...resulting in a light pinky purple shade.

And with the purple "Superbowl" Matsuda M2002's for reference (I think gotmeth366 was right, I just went lighter)...

And with the 51's for comparison...I put light gradient pink in the 51's, but wasn't entirely convinced with my efforts!
