Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Eventually got around to dealing with my Tod's.
Thought I'd thrown out my stupid "homemade" version I made straight away, when Homecoming first came out. I cut off the nose bridge on a pair of aviators and used a leather rope bracelet on the arms. (WTF was I thinking!?!).

I ended up with the green lens version, due to the super crazy low price at the time. The frame is exactly the same as the blue lens version.

I'll tackle accurately re-coloring the rope arm detailing at some point, to bring them up to the "blue lens" version 3 color rope spec.

If only I could source the real Etro navy leather floral print jacket and Etro t-shirt.
Think I'll give the green striped trousers and multicolored hi-tops a miss though! Lol.

Wow!!
Somehow managed to source some real Bromleys in black! Not the movie color in any way, but I suppose more appropriate for everyday wear.
Stripped them down first to "service" and clean them properly and tighten everything up correctly.

There's a few tiny signs of wear but mostly it's the temple tip logo which has worn off..I will fix this though!

I know a few on here were lucky enough to also score some real Bromleys and I gotta say the quality IMHO is only so-so. Certainly nothing to get too excited about.
The lack of quality initially made me think they might be fakes!
I might be wrong, but TMK there aren't any fakes out there.
I did say earlier they looked like a "basic" frame and IMO that's what they turned out to be. Thin metal frame, plastic lens holders with plastic lenses.
Kinda reminded me of when I stripped down some M3023 replicas ages ago.

That said, from a rareness and style point of view, I'm still super pleased I found some originals and for the crazy price of only $80 too! - I simply couldn't say no!

While I'm in chin strokey mode:unsure: I think this has only given me a higher expectation on the 3000's. They should hopefully have a better quality feel altogether, guess we'll find out real soon!

Awesome score on the bromleys!! Disappointed to hear about the lack of quality. Especially when quality and craftsmanship mean everything to me. Prime example are Ditas soligner 2 frames. Although i admit the frame is not for everyone. You can see the amount of detail Dita has put in to make it a work of art.

I was expecting better of the Bromleys TBF and of Oliver Peoples. OP founder Larry Leight (dad of Garrett), created Mosley Tribes in 2005, an offshoot company as Oliver Peoples urban inspired brother.
OP quality is normally excellent.

Those Ditas though, are magnificent!!
Exquisite eyewear at its best, they need their own display pedestal!
It's like eyewear sent from the gods..we are not worthy!!

Haha ya honestly Dita is the only brand that makes me feel like I'm wearing a Lamborghini on my face. The attention to detail is insane it's like they decided to make the frames the most difficult way possible with as many separate pieces as they could

Well, no email for me yet... But the're definitely on the ground from what I can see on Instagram. Seen a post from some guy tagging Initium who lives in Huntington Beach wearing a pair of 3000s with Rx lenses.

I ordered the movie ones and Jason is putting the Initium guitar pic temple tips on them, instead of the normal skull tips that colour comes with. I also have the limited edition blue ones in this order as well.
