Can you clear coar over Rub N' Buff???

oh well.....that answered a question I had too. Can you use it over say enamel paint like a black undercoat or only acrylic primers and paint?

Cheers

Damn, thanks though guys, how long does it take to "dry" you know, before you can handle it like normal without getting fingerprints and such?

If you buffed it sufficiently, then it should be instant. If its still not "dry" after a day or two, take a soft, soft buffing cloth and rebuff it really hard. That should take care of any residue.

I buffed the hell out of it and seems really good, but I wanna go for a used look so I might try a dull coat and see what happens

Yea, I think i'm going to go with the 0000 steel wool or sand paper, I dont wanna make it look like just regular paint

I don't recommend sandpaper but the 0000 steel wool will dull it down and give some fine scratches. Just use it lightly at first.

It's been said that you can use Future floor wax to seal it, but everyone who has posted that has tried this seems to have had mixed results.

Instead of rub and buff, you can use the Treasure gold metal wax brand. It's almost the same thing, but less messy. After you apply it and buff it, the metal finish is very realistic. They sell a sealer just for this brand of wax. In comes in spraycans. It will dull the metal finish, somewhat, but the metal look will still be there. I use it all of the time.
