Newbie here, that is awesome, Im gonna start mine soon! Im having problems with the pdo files though, I keep getting an error message. Hopefully I can figure it out soon. Keep up the great work.
Nice work man, what thickness foam u using?
Thanks. Using the "Best Step" anti-fatigue mats. Got 'em at Sears. Think they're about 10mm in thickness.
Is is this roll mat: Best Step Antifatigue Foam Floor Mat - Black - Tools - Garage Organization & Shelving - Garage Flooring
or the interlocking squares 2 ft. x 2 ft. Foam Flooring: Save that Floor with Supplies from Sears
or something else?
Getting ready to try this out and want to find the right material to work with. Thanks.
Both are often used. STEALTH uses the rolls.
I built my boots over the top of a pair of old running shoes and have had no issues with articulation etc. They dont really flex all that much unless youre running and jumping everywhere![]()
....:lolNo problems drinking on Halloween
I did a foam 'shell'. I still walk on the soles of the running shoes. Theres a bunch of pictures in my build thread, just follow the link in my sig and look at pages 1, 3 and 4. Id repost them here, but the forum only allows you to attach them onceI lucked out and made the shells exactly the right size to fit over the shoes completely by accident :lol
I also cut off about 1cm of the base of the boots as I thought they looked a bit clunky and, well, boot like, and I wanted a more slimline look.
looks really good mate you doing a cracking job
I did a foam shell too ya can see em on my 1st page on my thread![]()
