Building the Sandcrawler

Wow so glad you didn´t take a shortcut, this is so awesome!!! And much faster than the Jawa´s sandcrawler seemed to move! :lol

Thank you very much for my friends' kind words :)

After the detailing and painting, I will try to operate on sand.
As below pics, I got the styrene piieces of 560 today and the styrene is attached on my caterpillar.

thanks Eric.

Incredible Eric ! That's the kind of pics I love, would love to see more pics of the gear boxes etc... !

The styrene tracks look spot on, I would sand the lips of molten styrene created by the laser cutting process though. I know it would be tedious to do that on 560 parts, but it would enhance the overall look which is already incredible !

Have you ever find the small kitpart or greebly which goes on the inner side of the styrene tracks and which sits on the Sherman part ?

I love it, and as I already said, that's the best and coolest model Ive seen so far ! Keep up the good work my friend, you're on the right track ! :lol

Thanks for my friend~!

Julien,

I'm not sure but...
Do you think the inner part of SC's caterpillar is from any donor kit?

Additionally, I want to identify some part including head light part.
I have ever heard for the head light which was from vintage heat-sink but I can't find the actual or similar things...so far~!
Can someone give me any information to get this part?

thanks Eric.

Thanks my friends~! Dave & spacemonkey...

Currently, I found the parts on the first pic and waiting for your help:)
I believe the kit-bashing is done by around 90%...next time, I will prepare the painting in advance, even though unknown parts are about 10%.

Actually it is a challenge for me.:)

thanks Eric.

Eventually, my boggies and boggy cover are finished as pics.
I used a pile of plastic in order to cut down the weight of the boggy.
Since last yutube clip, the driving skill and a mechanism for RC are improved....
From now on, I will indetify an unknown kit parts and also the light up apply to the box tank.

Thanks Eric.
