Budget build Jawa Blaster

Nice! How much does it weigh? Is it light enough for the little jawas?

Its pretty light weight, and wouldn't be too bad for little ones, it is a little on the fragile side, and would need a bit of work to keep it for being damaged if dropped or banged around.

your work is really awesome, i dug around your site a little last night. im axious to see your boba fett blaster in the works.

Pretty cool. The blaster is the only bit of my wife's jawa costume that I don't have. The things aren't easy to find at all.

Nice work! I would like a parts list too! Something my kids and I could build together..... Interesting collection BTW!

thanks guys for the nice comments! Sorry for the delay in response of a parts list, but I found it a little more difficult to track down the exact list of items. The bulk of the weapon was made from spare plumbing parts that I had lying around my shop, most of the more interesting looking parts are from the Sprinkler section at the Home Depot. The end of the blaster (the cone) came from a Renuzit air freshner. All you need to do is sand that down a bit and paint it.

The hilt of the gun was carved out of MDF, sanding sealer applied, and bolted to the rest of the weapon.

Again, I am sorry for the lack of other part I.D.'s it was my first build, and I didn't keep track at the time.

Are you interested in selling the one you made?

Sorry, it's taken me a while to respond. I probably wouldn't sell this one, it's really not that well constructed, and it sort of took some damage last week when the dog got a hold of it :cry

I am planning on fixing it up and putting it with a Jawa display that I am working on. If you want a parts list I would be happy to try and give the best details I can.

Thanks

the parts list is above, sorry, didn't even remember that I put that there. its been a while. lol
