Blade Runner Inspired Blaster

Here is a custom blaster made to look like it belongs in Blade Runner. I took 2 old bb guns and chopped them apart to use as the core. There are bits from old appliances in there, too. I made a mold of the handle scales, cast them in resin, and made an aluminum pommel to get a look similar to the handle of Deckard's gun. Both triggers move, with the rear one operating the hammer. The forward trigger is easily reachable if the holder has their other hand bracing the primary hand. It is a bit of a brick; Since it is almost entirely metal, it weighs over 2 and a half pounds!

While I like the idea of having 2 triggers, I don't see the practicality of this design...especially having to handle a semi-auto weapon with the slide recoil and its so far away trigger:eek::eek:
Well, I have the same feeling as you but I would answer that : in the case of a of movie like "Blade Runner" which is science-fiction / anticipation movie, we mustn't look at the props like "real world" things, "veracity", "practicality" but we must look at them for what they are : science fiction pieces.....and suddenly, you can change your mind......no ?? :D

I would've removed the second trigger guard to make it less "awkward" visually speaking;)

When I was making this, I couldn't decide if I liked the second trigger or not. However, since everything in Blade Runner is flawed (even the replicants are perfect in some ways, terribly flawed in others), I wanted to make this blaster reflect that. It might be from the same company that made Deckard's blaster, but probably not their most popular model:lol:. This is less the Deckard blaster, and more the Sebastion. That being said, I did make the whole rail gun assembly detachable in case I got tired of it!
