While I can appreciate that people may want transparency in cases where there has been some sort of wrongdoing (not this case ha ha), I occasionally have projects with people who for personal or professional reasons want to remain behind the scenes.

Of course this is all tangential to the topic at hand. From my knowledge of the BR holster it's likely a better bet to buy a really good replica, but if you're keen to find someone to mod yours I hope you're able to for sure!

I understand your position, and this run indeed worked beautifully, however, I believe this is what is called shilling and it is forbidden on this forum.
I was really taken by surprise when seing the name on the address when I received that package last time.

Would it be easier to make one from scratch? I enjoyed making my own as a shoulder holster, though! It was my first try at leatherwork.

Ive done a self taught conversion on Safariland 101 and also a 1001with I think reasonable success.
Check out my thread and Im happy to answer any questions.
Is yours a 1001 or 101?

Oh wow! Nice! That’s looks awesome! Sadly I am moving on from this holster.

I put my pre order in for a tomenosuke 2024 holster.

Thanks, it was second attempt having practiced on a 101.

Ok I was going to mention that the spring grip on the 1001 conversion, is pretty strong.
It may damage the sight rod if you going to use it a lot.

I have the Tomen and only risked it a couple of times, I use a sold resin filled Elfin water pistol for regular display.
I’ve not seen the Tomen holster, but guessing the spring is more forgiving.

I’m tempted to have another go at doing an exact screen authentic holster, I left my conversion longer to save having to cut and move the Safariland insignia.

How much you looking for to offload the 1001?
