Re: BSG Propworx/Auction Network Auction II - 5/8 - 5/10 live now

I scored the xlarge Raptor suit... WOO HOO!

I just got an email saying i won a lot at the auction and I never bid on anything. I did register and was ready to bid but nothing was in my price range, Frustrated i left around 3 pm to go see Star Trek with the family, came back to see i won something? ... I hope they figure out what went wrong because i really don't want an $400.00 intercom from a transport ship.

Sounds like a scam - I read something similar before.

Can you post the text of the email? There was a scammer operating out of Romania that tried something like this with a person on the Propworx forum.

It does look legit indeed. That lot is Romo Lampkin’s Intercom. Best see what Propworx say.

The member on the Propworx forum got a strange phishing email from Romania just after they won an auction, from a "Verginia Moraru" who was supposedly a Paypal rep.

That "Verginia Moraru" person tried something similar before, see here:

If i don't hear back i will call them tomorrow. Is it easy to bid? As in could i have clicked a wrong key and bid that easy? Or do you have to go thru a few steps and confirm your bid?

I watched the live video feed on the 1st go around back in around January. It was great, but I missed it this time. Did the Vipers, or Raptor sell, and what price did they go for?

All you have to do is log in, enable bidding, and then click bid. There is no confirmation screen.
