BSG- Blood and Chrome - frakking A

I wonder what it found so fascinating about the pendant she was wearing... It reminded me of the raider that scanned Anders in his cockpit before refusing to fire on him.

I guess my thought was that it is what she wanted to go out there for. She said she wanted to end the war, so I'm assuming she's bringing the cylons info. Just a thought though.

Maybe a virus of some sort.

Possibly the secrets of making the human form cylons?

i was thinking this too since they were in a room of hacked up body parts and the cylons want to be "created in his image" too... which was the theme of the BSG reimagine. (then came along the final 5 and they had the tech for organic bodies and resurrection which they offer the cylons to ultimately end the first war) Looks like the original colonies were perhaps well on their way wtih that tech as well (which Caprica kind of jumped the gun on in my opinion with the final episode showing an organic Zoey) Dr. Becca Kelly did say that she worked for Graystone Industries so perhaps they had the tech but held it back... now she knows that is what the cylons are after... perhaps only the Graystone industries knew this is what the war was all about after all... especially since the monologe in the first episode of B&C young Adama says the reasons for the revolt is not understood and is debatable. (I would like to have seen a cameo of Daniel Graystone talking about this little secret!)

Ok, please someone tell me if that was the voice of Tricia Helfer (number 6) in that humanoid Cylon at the end.

Reel

Okay, that was a HELL of an ending for that mini series. It was better than the entire season of "Caprica" and was a hell of a lot better than the entire last season of nuBSG.

I was a little mystified they left the traitor alive at the Cylon base though. What the hell?

Great ending to a great premiere.

I thought it a bit odd as well. Maybe they figured she'd bleed out before help arrived. Or that if the centurions found her, they'd deal with her, well, just the way they did (if not worse.)

I don't think they should have taken the chance, she knew too much about the Colonial Fleet. She should have been shot on the spot. That's the only logical issue I have with the episodes though, otherwise it was frakking awesome.

BSG Blood & Chrome was a fun ride, but it wasn't the series which I absolutely thought was the best television series I've watched. It had a some thing's going for it, mostly that it was single story that allowed a much tighter focus. It had lots of action - which is what the fanboys want, but was missing some of "the big picture," which I guess is cool in all by itself.

We didn't see any real character development, we saw some character stuff but, not a whole lot. But, this was just a small arc and small segment of time. I'd love to see where this all goes...

The CG was decent - I guess it's the lense flair effects that help hide it. Some of it was amazing and some of it just seemed poor. As long as it helps the story move along and it doesn't make a distract, doesn't matter to my eyes.

It would be fun to see what the series would evolve into. I want more.

Yes it was.

Seeing what looked like and sounded like a prototype "6" this would suggest the "final 5" are already at the mobile space station called The Colony beyond the Armistice Line as it was they that are the original creators of the Significant Seven Cylons.
the Centurions are trying to make flesh bodies but in BSG it was said they only created Hybrids, and it was the "final Five" that made a deal with them to stop the war by helping them create humanoid Cylons and gave them the resurrection technology they rediscovered and re-invented before the destruction of 13th colony "earth".
So Unless this is an escaped early model 6 and the final 5 have yet to be murdered, boxed, memories wiped by John (number 1) a.k.a Brother Cavil this one we saw is probably a prototype hybrid being made by the 12 colony cylons and although Tricia Helfer did the voiceover I don't know if this neccessarily means the cylon is a number 6... Having Helfer voice her though would suggest she is supposed to be a "six" so there is potential to have another webisode series with some of this crossover humonid cylon work by the final 5. (recasting young Tyrol, Anders, Tigh etc.) (although having her there at the end was probably just "candy" for the die hard fans to deliberate about just as I am now! :D )

It's been a while since I last watched season 4 of BSG, but I thought Anders said that they only gave up their tech after they made the Centurions end the war, not before or during. I thought the prototype thing we saw was something closer to the Hybrids; as Sharon said in Razor, they were an evolutionary dead end and so we saw what eventually gets us there. The humanoid models we see in the main series are all totally human through-and-through, they don't have an "traditional" cybernetic components to them.
