Hello There.
This Is the second large scale project i've done. I think i Started it last year in january, when "The Book OF Boba Fett" show was still a hot topic. I had previously done The predator for halloween, so I thought, why not make Boba Fett?
I first started with the helmet. Which was probably the hardest part because it was going to be the main focal point of the costume. i think i made 2 prototypes before i finally made one that fits perfectly.I Hot glued it together, put a few coatings of plaster on it, and sanded it down. then painted it.
For some reason, every time I worked on The costume, i ended up cutting at least one of my fingers open with my variety of knives. I like to joke and say i've destroyed the nerve endings in all of my fingers so i've stopped feeling it when i cut myself, or i'm just getting used to it
Materials Used:
Black Fabric
Cardboard
Craft leather pouches
hydraulic tubing
plain Black sweatshirt (arms cut out, keep shoulder portion)
lightweight Black Sweatpants
Belt (spray painted brown)
small skinny belt, goes around the leg and holster (spray painted brown)
Girth belt (fabric rope, dyed black)
Boot covers
Carpentry face shield
Black fabric mesh
Moss green spray paint
Sun Red spray paint
dandelion yellow spray paint
navy blue spray paint
