I have a small collection of blasters, and I've always had them displayed on shelves, each one having an individual stand. I wanted to display them all together on my wall, but I struggled to come up with a design I was happy with. After searching the internet, I couldn't find anything that impressed me much, so I decided to go with my own design. I just wanted it to look very Star Wars-ish.
I don't have a 3D printer, or a laser cutter, but I found some laser cut panels on Etsy that would work with my display. I grabbed a little bit of pinstriping tape off of Amazon, and then started looking around my house for interesting greeblies.
After laying out the laser cut pieces on my background, I thought it would be fun to cut out holes in the display, and back light it with an LED strip.
I glued everything on, and painted and weathered the pieces. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out!
