This is a display stand for the Vader ANH V2 I built out with a crystal chamber reveal. What started with a design based around a glass tube from a lamp I've had in the office for a while ended up being a whole 3D Model and print session over a weekend.
This also gave me a chance to include a vintage Sperry Panaplex display into the control panel, which is what they used in ESB for the Han in Carbonite display. The Panaplex was particularly challenging to light up and drive as it runs at 160 volts, and I had to move each frame of animation from code on the Arduino to hardwired arrays of diodes to support a match to the animation in the movie.

Driving and animating this gas filled display like this means an accurate Han in Carbonite panel could be made via this setup.
