Blas-Tech DL-44

[DMCSerenity]

I built this Blas-Tech DL-44 blaster last Halloween. Custom Han Solo Blaster ESB version. All metal used original parts as used in the movie. Sporting a 1942 M19 brass azimuth telescope used by the military in many applications including tank periscopes. Did all the painting and ageing myself. Made the flash gard with a CNC lathe at work.

Is that a real mauser, or a replica one? I had thought I read that some of the Hero props were built off of replica "broomhandles" Great looking piece!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes it has moving parts and and fires when you pull the trigger but doesn't shoot anything. It is not a real mauser but it is a Denix.

Excellent work! Very cool. I've always wanted to do one of these, too. Funny, seems like there are just sooo many awesome projects I want to take on. Hopefully as time goes on I'll get better at keeping up with this stuff!
