Blade Runner shot glasses

They come up quite a bit on ebay and you can pick them up really cheaply arount $5-$15

They were not made for Blade Runner, and are pretty common otherwise. They used come with a dispenser, so by looking for 'shot glass dispenser set', or something of the like, you may find a few sets. here is our link on propsummit with more info...

I don't think you saw the whole auction.. it for six glasses, tray and decanter.
It seems that quite a few of the sets of glasses were sold without the dispenser... most likely the sales of the dispenser were lacking and the company supplying the glasses began selling them separately.
If all you're looking for is the shot glasses, search elsewhere and leave the "set" for someone else. You'll likely get a better deal.

Actually I have found more sets than individual glasses, and in most cases paid less than the asking price for the glasses alone. The shipping can add a bit more though. I do check regularly and watch prices. Be careful and know there is a look alike set with different style of colored bands that are more art deco in style and complexity. Still a cool set, just not screen accurate. Also if you use "art deco" as a search perameter, realize that almost half of ebay listers will shorten their title to just "deco" to save room for other words. By adding the "art" you exclude all those listings.

I have a similar set for sale too...shipping may be costly though...

Well... posting the auction number possibly led to the stupid high price that the decanter set is at right now. I've never seen them go for so much... it's at $168 with 2 hours left. :eek

If the people who saw it here stopped at the ebay number and went to go bid crazy, they spent too much. I have seen quite a few Blade Runner items jump up on ebay recently. So I think it is part of a greater trend outside of the RPF. BR is seeing a bit of a resurgence after the DVD set being released, and being in the news.
Just adding "Blade Runner" to an auction title is also something I have seen on ebay for years to help get a bigger bidder response. Of course just adding one or two more bidders can help drive an auction through the roof, even if they themselves don't bid all that high.
I may have to put some of my extras up an Ebay. I usually keep things like that for trade and such, but I have seen cheap crappy broken BR blaster resin kits go for over $100. After Christmas all these prices might fall again.

Well it closed for over $230. :eek
I purchased one on Ebay for $18 and have seen them go for even less... even ones with "Blade Runner" in the description.

Man! 8I I got one packed and ready to go. Time to put it up on Ebay then. That is the highest I have ever seen one go for.

GRRRRRR!
So I have been wanting one of these liquor dispenser/shot glass sets for a long time. I periodically would browse through eBay looking for just the right one with the correct blue bands used in Blade Runner and in good condition. Preferably one of the chrome sphere ones with the bowler on top. Wonder of wonders what do I see but 4 or 5 sets that finally all meet my criteria!
I pick one out and promptly purchase.
Then it starts to go down hill.
The seller emails me and says that UPS is closed in his area (what?) and asks if he can send it Priority mail instead. Even thought the listing said UPS for shipping. I say sure, as long as it gets here.
Eons pass.
I email him and ask for a tracking number.
Long story short, He says he sent it regular mail and not priority mail, no tracking number. I had to file a claim and get a refund, but all of the other sets I was looking at are all gone now. There is one still on eBay but has the wrong bands.
I dont think they guy ever sent it. In his description he mentioned something about "other like it have sold for over $150" and I won the auction for $22.
Oh well. The search continues. I am sure another one will pop up sooner or later.

there is one of the "Jupiter" versions of the Blade Runner shot glass set on ebay right now. The listing is under "Unusual Liquor Dispenser". It is kinda out of my price range at $165.00, but i thought someone on here might really be looking for it.
