Blade Runner Prop Ringtone?

Is it possible to make a good quality, well looped mp3 sample of the ringing sound the phone makes when Deckard uses the Vid-Phon?

I'd like it for my cellphone. :love

you can buy cheap programs that let you make your own ringtones...you can also make midi versions and I believe BladeZone has a bunch of sound samples for download.

Great effort but I think that's the end as he hangs up. I was meaning the actual ringing tone. I'll maybe look up my DVD tonight if I can find it and have a play around.

I thought about adding the touch tones to the ring, but wasn't sure. If you know what part you're looking for, I'd be glad to make another attempt at it.

Don't have the DvD handy, but I think its the loud kinda Oooga Ooooga sound hes looking for.

I have the sound ...but it is part of a longer isolated sound track of taffy's bar and the zhora chase...if you can isolate more from that i can send it to you.

I scanned through the movie for the soundbyte, only came up with the one I posted earlier. If you could give me an exact location (minutes:seconds) of where the part everyone's looking for is, I can make it. Is the vidfone ring different in the original cut? I only have the dirrector's cut.

I can't figure out if you mean the ring before Racheal Picks up or the "boop boop" sound after she hangs up?

Andy sent me the mp3 from the soundtrack. I'll work on it when I get home from work tomorrow.

I'm guessing it's either the 6 beeps after she hangs up, the bass line and synth part while Deckard is having a drink, or maybe a combination of both?
