Here's the screencap. Would love to see who was able to find the closest...

Here is mine, purchased from eBay about 6 months ago.

The crest on mine isn't as long as the screen-used one (I've toyed around with the idea of filing it to a more accurate shape), and the lines on the base are a little lower than the actual prop, but I'm pretty satisfied with it. Overall, it's a pretty fair representation. :thumbsup

I've ruined my eyesight looking for the absolutely correct duckie crest, bill and base.

Have yet to find a single crest exactly like the prop. Seems odd as the opium ducks are very commonplace and main crests very close to each other. I'm thinking the duck selection was relatively random and it's just perplexing that the one in the film seems to have no identical twin out there.

does anyone have any more pics of the original for further comparisons? 8)

Unless someone with the HD version can cap it that's about the best you're gonna get.

Lots of very close ducks out there, I seem to miss them and as Jedirick was saying, I've spent way too much time straining my eyes trying to find the "perfect" match.

Based on the shot of the one from the film, I'm guessing that most of these are a bit undersized. Doesn't matter to me though. Rick's still my little buddy.

Affectionately named, Rick Duckard.

Not perfect, but I'm happy with him.

What's the brand on that shot glass? I remember it came up a long time ago, but I've forgotten the info (it was part of a set?).

I believe it's a Park Sherman Liquor dispenser or cordial dispenser. Art Deco like. However in most cases no makers mark is on the unit. Antique dealers will know park Sherman but most won't mention it by manufacturer.

I had a pic of entire unit but can't find it. :(

Got one right here in the house...the wife likes it. Good for Schnapps shots. :D

There are a couple different sets by the same manufacturer. They have 6 glasses usually 2 red band, 2 green, 2 blue. Look closely at the color bands as you want the ones that have the ringed pattern like DK's and blue for accurracy. There is another style that has a slight scalloped imprint on band instead of rings on band.

Great for warm brandy, too. I've done that for so long I pretty much can't watch the movie without brandy in hand.

someone called for an HD cap? :D

oh yeah, i don't know if anyone has noticed this before or not, but there isn't just one duck... there's two.

Wow, I never noticed those before. They look ALOT like a set of old Apothecary weights my Mother has.

Two?.?.?. You drop a bomb like that and don't include a pic? I'd love to see a shot, if you can grab it.

Seconded.

Pics of the second one please.

Maybe my next one can be more accurate than #1.

Thanks,
Bruce
