Handle mounted. Waiting for the keycard plate until after it's stained because there are no mounting holes. It'll have to be glued on.

At least one more. You're gonna need more doors!
Looks great!
I did an idiot thing and sheered the screw head off of one of them. The pilot hole is at an angle because the handle was in the way so it binds and locks up. I'll fix it when I remove it to stain. You're gonna need more doors!
Looks great!
My wife has already said the line stops at the door. Even that took a lot of convincing. Two thoughts as I see this magnificent door - 1) it looks great and I can't wait to see it stained with the numbers on it 1) I applaud your subtle, but clear first step in turning the entire house into Deckard's place. ;-)
Stunning photo.Small update but I received my Deckard’s trench coat the other day from ELS (Jameel Ur) the other day and got a coat rack to hang it. Deckard’s coat is never seen on a rack in his apartment, he just throws it on the floor haha. But I thought this would give it a nice “lived in” look. I need to steam it to get some of the wrinkles out from it being shipped in a bag. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. Extremely accurate. Thanks Jameel!

Handle looks cool...I guess you will not put the plate/slit for you card![]()
I thought about it. I thought about doing some kind of battery powered solenoid triggered by a hidden magnet or RFID in the card, but trying to hide all of that inside a solid wood door is just not feasible.I suppose next your going to install a card reader to open the lock, that somehow with you infinite talent made is possible to read a card that looks just like his.![]()
