Updated pics. The borders around the fur have been adjusted, and the opening angles of the flaps have been changed to give that triangle opening when the coat is closed:






A comparison of it before and after fixes:



The dark spot in the middle is a water mark from cleaning part of the coat, it's not permanent.

I'll probably start taking orders for it in the next day or two. Changes that will still happen:
-Sleeves will be less fitted/tapered. It's hard to tell in these pics, but they have already been let out a little.
-Lining will be a polyester material that is not shiny like this satin.
-Not all of the magnets have been added here but you can't really tell that.
-The little hook/clasp will be added at the waist.
-Printing
-Hopefully a coating of some kind. There's an issue with adding wax after dying the fabric, so he's looking into whether there's another type of coating that can be applied.

The last updated pictures look very nice.

Definitely tell there's less of a taper in the arms.

Overall thats shaping up beautifully.

Looking good, my dude!! You said that your guy was custom-dying the canvas? I think he's really nailed the dark-green-with-grayish-cast look that we see on screen. Curious to see how the coating shakes out....

That may just be how to collar happened to fall in that photo of Ryan, because there does seem to be a little gap above that, closer to how Zlurpo has made the collar.

It does! This is already a note I've sent to the manufacturer. Although it does seem to change a bit in some shots so I'm not sure the stitch placement is consistent on all of the production coats.

It will be an option to include the lettering. A sample print is being made very soon.

I'm struggling with the bottom lapels in this photo. The bulk of the time it will be open and in this configuration as in the photo below - but on the original version, they trick you into forgetting that it has the long flap to wrap around the face, by making the bottom lapels look symmetrical, in shape and size, when laying open - like a "normal" jacket layout.

Maybe it's just how they are sitting in the photo, but for me, that's the look that I like and would really want it to be able to achieve it.

Getting my measurements ready for when orders open up.
From the stills I've been going back over, I'd say the coat goes to right behind the the knees or maybe slightly lower...

I'd love to see a photo of what you're thinking of, because I've never seen a picture of this coat that made it look even a little bit symmetrical.

The bulk of the movie he wears it like this. I personally think those lapels look pretty symmetrical in this shot below?
