The barrel will be black lacquer dusted with graphite powder then clear coat the rear will be dyed black.

Yes. Matching the weathering patterns from photos of the hero blasters.

Just letting you know that tonight is the Screening of Slice of Life here in LA.

Our showing at the LA Shorts film festival went really well, we even won Best Sci-Fi!

I fly home tomorrow, then things will settle down and i will be able to get back to work completing this last batch of cases and completing the last of the molds for the blaster, so i can start pouring the large components for the whole run (small components are all poured)

I received a package from Shapeways while i was out of town, and finally got a chance to take a look at it.

It has a slightly rough texture, so i will need to give it a few coats of filler primer before i get started molding.

Placed on the Stick-O-Matic 3000,
It was now ready to spray.

Next coat will be this evening.

I’m spending the rest of today on my case run. I really need to buckle down and complete it so i can place my sole focus on the Blaster run.

The electrical engineer got back to me and is handling the prototype circuit board being manufactured in China. The board will measure 15mm x 15mm
