I apologize ahead of time for the ****ty photos. I forgot my camera and had to use my phone.
Using the master I had made during my last visit to my friend’s place (he’s giving me all this tutelage), I had to shore up any and all gaps with clay. When the silicone mold is poured over, any gaps would cause it to seep in and make it so that we couldn’t break the master free. So, the clay was used.
After this, we glued it to a piece of cardboard and made walls around it for the mold walls. Everything was made water tight with hot glue so the silicone mold wouldn’t seep through the walls and cause a mess. The black you see is merely paint to coat the clay so the silicone wouldn’t be affected by it and not adhere.
Then we poured in the silicone and let it dry for a couple of hours and carefully pried the master away, leaving the mold behind.

That was then filled with resin, cooled and pulled for the following results:
They still need to be smoothed down around the edges and painted.
To get an idea of their size, here’s what they’ll look like on the belt (again, I apologize for crappy quality pics):
Also today, we made the master for the bites. We glued together layers of styrene and then spent hours sanding it to the proper shape. Here’s a pic of it being sanded by Mike (we took turns):
And this is the completed master:
