Black Series Helmets - whats next after Boba Fett

I think the Rex looks great, but won't be getting one. I also fear that with so many assorted, painted designs going on, there'll be a lot of skewed stencils like some of you encountered with Boba Fett and Bo Katan's. I lucked out on my Boba and Ahsokas.

I doubt they'd make one, but would love a Rebels Vader! Not cracked, I mean.

Shout out to Ollie’s. $64.18 out the door for two. Can’t wait to get some paint on these!

Y'all were ALL spoiled...

Here's MY Black Series Legacy Saber
View attachment 1742768

You're over 50; likely about 55...

So am I - 55...

Remember getting this inflatable lightsaber, and was in ECSTASY...

Can still remember the properties and details of the vinyl tube VIVIDLY.

I remember imagining the embers in my dad's fireplace being the remains of a Stormtrooper I decimated with my Jedi weapon. NOT silly, for a 10-year-old.

THANK YOU for the memories!

52 last month.

I distinctly remember my brother stealing my 2 D batteries from that Saber for his radio, & since he was much older, the parents let it slide. I also remember what a freaking PITA it was to get that vinyl sleeve thing over the rim of the 'hilt'.

Now for the Whooshing saber, that was one of my first mods, albeit by accident. The blade was glued into the emitter that screwed into the body, & when I was dueling a tree limb to save my entire class who were being held hostage (I was the only one who could save them cause I, of course, was a secret Jedi), & I heard the plastic crack. It split the emitter from the threads to the blade, but it also broke the glue loose that held the blade in. That gave me the ability to unscrew the emitter, remove the blade, then screw it back on so I could wear it on my belt in a holster I made from a wire coat hanger. Darn thing looked like I had one of those window cup holders on my side, but it held that Saber like a charm.

LOL

Great, GREAT times!

KNEW IT!

You were 7-ish; I was 10-ish

It was a FLASHLIGHT, but so much fun for us kids!

I remember the vinyl being robust; fairly thick, with a coloration that made me wonder it it was glow-in-the dark (minus the flashlight).

Did it have little air bubbles, in the vinyl, from the manufacturing process? Or is my memory going too far "down the rabbit hole"...?

Made a stop at my closest Ollie’s on the way back from running some errands today.

I’ve only been there once before and it was a bit overwhelming and underwhelming all at the same time.
I did manage to find a helmet in the toy section.

I wandered around and then found a whole lot more. THX1138 , if you happen want a $30 helmet, they have a few!

I’ve seen mention of people buying the whole pallet. I bought 2. One to keep as is and one to modify someday or give to my nephew.
if they had a website store, i would have bought a couple myself. i looked but i could not find a way to buy online.

stock guy told me they're all gone from all three locations in my area.

Made it to my local one today just before their closing - nothing left out on the floor (a few cap shields still, but no helmets).

BUT there were two helmets left in the reshop cart at the front of the store. So I got the last two from our Ollie's. I might offer one to my officemate's husband - but if he turns it down, it's destined for customization.

I think if you didn't make it out to a store today your odds are VERY slim.

Well now I know that Ollie's exists, and there's one 20 minutes from my house. The one in Manchester, CT still has a few left (2 less than in this picture!)
