Black Series Helmets - whats next after Boba Fett

Amazon has them for $68 today. I had a $25 gift certificate burning a hole in my digital wallet, so grabbed one to repaint.

I found out about the Ollie's sale from a friends post late Thursday, There are five Ollie's in driving distance but all were sold out by end of day Thursday. Oh well.

Was ALWAYS neutral to slightly positive on this design, but seeing the execution of The Black Series, in hand and in my collection - one of the best Benjis I've ever burned...

I am fairly certain I had my debit card info stolen at Ollie’s when purchasing the Trapper Wolf helmet. If this new repaint shows up there, I’ll grab one, but I sure as hell am paying in cash only.

I have to wonder: Where are Red and Gold Leader Black Series helmets?

Hasbro tends to capitalize on products correspond with the what has recently been seen in recent released media.

Maybe they can do a 2026 10th anniversary or Rogue One and do a triple Squadron Leader release of Red, Blue, and Gold Leaders. I’d buy all of those.

I think that was great for collectors but I think the main reason for having to dump Trapper Wolf helmet was that they seemed to only be available online. I don’t ever remember seeing them in stores (maybe Game Stop but I didn’t see them). I think it’s a shame because it’s actually a cool helmet. I like seeing something on the crown other than a rebel logo and I really like the black chin cup.

Biggs and Gold Leader would be nice. Likely sell more as well as we love OT and the new shows are not exactly winning legions of new fans.

Disney Parks released the "Biggs" X-Wing helmet, I just got one today.

It's by no means screen accurate but for 100 bucks it fills the shelf nicely. Might just get some better decals and redo it however.

It’s not Biggs, just the forehead design is similar. It’s a unique design that sports the black spire emblem and if you translate the writing on the side, it says LEBEL PILOT because the R symbol has been accidentally rotated 90 degrees so now it looks like the L symbol.

Disney Parks released the "Biggs" X-Wing helmet, I just got one today.

They are very similar to Black Series and even have internal electronics. The only thing that Disney Parks helmets have that need a tweak is the chin cup, it’s missing the little hump. luckily they started selling those on shopdisney website.. with a parcel forwarder europeans can finally get them, too without resorting to facebook

The Disney helmets also have the slide-up visor (ESB style) that I don’t believe the BS helmets have.

Trapper's helmet had this weird wasn't readily seen in any stores, that led to the Ollies thing. I do think GameStop carried it, but not all stores sell the big collectables and is probably what led to this massive stockpile ending up on ultra clearance.

I'm looking forward to this one, its pretty much a generic New Republic helmet, and will look great with the rest.

I wish they'd go back and give us Biggs, Red Gold and Blue Leader but I just don't see it happening unless they were released to a shop like Gamestop as an exclusive.
