Bill & Ted Face the Music

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

The first one was pretty funny, but god that second one sucked.

I'd laugh my ass off if they could land the phone booth somewhere in London in the 1950s and have it land next to a Police Box. Then when they come back to the phone booth have the Police Box be gone and one of them makes an off hand remark about where it went. They should at least give a tip o' the hat to their source.

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

LOUIS CK...

Jack BLACK...

How about Louis Black??? :)

He would make a good Rufus sub. (not that he is anything like him, but still an angry comedian that could be entertaining!)

Seriously though, I've always thought there shoulda been a 3rd. It will be most non-triumphant without Rufus. But could still be done! It will at least be interesting to see them try!

I hope they don't give them kids. How annoying.
Surely the point is they haven't grown up / settled down / integrated into society
and are still playing Wyld Stallions in the family garage?

Could always bring back William Sadler.

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

If they do have a kids i'm sure shia whatever his name is will have to be cast. I'd love to see a new movie done right but i doubt it will happen or if it does it will be crap.

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

Didn't they already have kids in Bogus Journey? I'm pretty sure there were babies by the end. Also, Bogus Journey is at least as good as the first one! Watch it again!

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

I'd be up for this... hopefully it would be done RIGHT and not just churned out by Hollywood to make a quick buck but what are the chances of that. Hmmm...

Maybe rescuing Rufus is the plot? Maybe he was a computer program the whole time and someone's hijacked his conscoiusness into some other android type host. Heck they could even put Rufus into Jessical Alba for a babe-a-licious dynamic..

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

I see Bill and Ted Part Three with a storyline about their children after they both settled down with those "princesses". Shia LeBouf will be in the lead role as William "Bill" S. Preston, Esq. The Second!

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

NOOOOOOOO!! No Shia. Hasn't he ruined enough franchises?!

How about McLovin?! The challenge can be that he isn't cool enough to rock!!!!!!

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

Bill and Ted are awakened by Rufus (Lawrence Fishburne) from their "dreamworld" to discover there never really was a time machine. It was all a computer simulation. Wait a second... That sounds strangely familiar.

Only to end up meeting with the Oracle where they are told by Chris Cornell..."There is no Spoon....man!"

Too little too late. Ship has sailed. Let it die.

Yeah, I think I'll have to agree with this.

It was actually a casette storage box that came with the Bill & Ted cereal.

I agree, it would be a very awkward film.
Even Bill and Ted would eventually grow up. If they kept talking in the same same style, it would look very odd as a couple of middle-aged men.
If they made it about their kids, I don't think the kids would as entertaining(keeping in mind how kids rebel).

An aside, no matter what I see Keanu Reeves in, I see and hear Ted.

Anybody remember the cartoon?

Re: Bill & Ted's Triumphant Return

Aw, I think it could be fun. Such a shame Mr. Carlin has left us, would have def. been great to see the three together again.

But Bogus Journey...I mean, really? I wish they didn't allow those 12 monkey's with a typewriter to write the script.

Bill And Ted 3

Bill And Ted 3..that's what I'm talking about. Why not?!
Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.
Truly a shame that Rufus won't be in it, but then again maybe they can put him in somehow using some old Carlin footage.
Hey...at least it's not a remake:sleep

Re: Bill And Ted 3?

I hope they do this and it isn't a total letdown. Just make it fun, stick to the roots and keep Shia Lebouf and Christian Bale out of it!
