Definitely the V pistol and rifle for me..

Carbines has to be the Aliens Pulse Rifle.

Pistols though is a toss up between Kurt Russel's hero gun in Tombstone or Thomas Janes 1911A1s in Punisher. Theres just something mean looking about his .45s.

3 Desert Eagle .50 AE : Jut look @ the size of the rounds:

Thats a .44 magnum round next to it.

I have a Desert Eagle in 50 AE (not gold, black). It is truly an intimidating weapon and an attention getter on the range, as it throws flame about 6 feet out the end of the barrel. The rounds are crazy expensive though (when you can find them) and even though it's gas-operated, it still kicks like a mule and really beats up on your wrist after a while. Also only holds 7 rounds with the standard clip, although, most likely you'd only need 1. :confused

Oh, and at times I've kept it on display (empty of course) with sf replica weapons. If anyone ask, it's Smith's weapon from the Matrix. As long as they don't try to pick it up, we're good.

Most exotic/original:
Alien weapon from The Hidden

YES! I had forgotten about this weapon. What a great intense genuinely surprising movie that was! Plus, Claudia Christian out of uniform! Has anyone ever produced an aluminum replica of this? If anyone knows of something like this available or wants to tackle it, please pm me!

A lot of the guns from Get Smart that looked like something else:
Pool cue shotgun
Phone in Max's apartment - dial 1-1-7

Enterprise's
EM-33 Plasma Pistol
MACO Pulse Rifle

Star Trek: TOS
Phaser II

Star Trek: Movies
Assault Phaser
Klingon Disruptor (Not the box ones from IV)

Star Trek (2009)
Romulan Disruptor (I'm guessing it was a disruptor... the one that Kirk takes from the guy)

TNG
Varon-T Disruptor Pistol

Original BSG
Colonial Blaster

U.N.C.L.E. Special (it was good enough to become Megatron... it's good enough for me)

Doctor Who
Captain Jack's Sonic Blaster (though it really needed a spare battery :D )
From The War Games: The War Lord's trooper's laser rifles (don't actually know what they were called, because they weren't given a name in the show)

Space 1999
Stun Gun

Batman Beyond
Mr. Freeze's Gun
Tranq Rifle

Not from any movie I know of but, I always loved the look of the Mateba Model 6 Unica.

It kinda has a look of Deckard's gun from Blade Runner, well I think it does anyways...

Obviously the Pulse Rifle, PKD, Assault Phaser and Auto 9, but I've also got a soft spot for the Foosh Gun from The 6th Day:

2nd Division favourites are the Dredd movie Lawgivers, and the Mk2 comic version apart from the pistol grip section. I just think it looks a little poorly matched to the rest of the gun.
The Timecop gun looks pretty good, too.

Okay, my choice might only go up against the airsoft Barretta from a few posts back but I've always loved the "splurge gun" from "Bugsy Malone".

Also, Jayne's "Boo" from Firefly has really grown on me.

Ted.
Prefect42.

Has anyone noticed Reinhardts Beretta has the same magazine buttplate as Judd Dredds lawgiver?

That's because it's exactly the same pistol. Used in both movies. :)

My wife and I made airsoft and solid versions of the 'Reinhardt Beretta' - my favourite sci-fi weapon. :D

That was in the good old days before anything vaguely looking like a gun was banned in Britain.

Richard Coyle made a beautiful resin version of this - I think it was cast from the screen piece, but I'm not sure. It's a favourite part of my collection & agree that the movie was a real surprise. :)

Actually, it looks closer to the Mini-Series and Season 1 Blasters for the RIS "Battlestar Galactica."

Easy the E11.. cant hit a barn door but well use it anyway that everyone knows and loves
The Lancer from the Gears Of War games, anything that has a chainsaw bayonet has to be good :)

...ahh, I stands corrected. I've never seen Ghost In the Shell (anime isn't really my thing) but it does have a look of the Firefly/Serenity guns now that someone mentions it.

...and here was me thinking I was being all original & edgy, ah well....
