Bandai release schedule

Has anyone heard of these or have any more info on what scale they might be?

They seem to be smaller than the 1/144 mecha collection (maybe close in size to the X-Wing game minis)

"gashapon" mini kits from Bandai

They are definitely the vending machine stuff, I was just wondering if the things like the X-wing and Y-wing would up being close enough to 1/350 scale. Would be nice to have some other vehicles for the 1/350 Falcon, especially diorama wise.

Also the X, Y and Ties might look more appropriately scaled with the Bandai Death Star tile bases than the 1/144 stuff?

I bought some of the Gashopon kits. They’re totally fun little snap-together toys. They’re not made to matched or published scales since they’re engineered to fit into a Death Star shaped grey plastic capsule. And they’re prepainted.

Thought I saw a while back that Bandai was supposed to release a 1/350 Falcon Empire version? Has this come to fruition? Would be perfect for 1/350 Medical Frigate I'll be starting soon. Thanks

It was supposed to be soonish. But it wasn’t a true ESB Falcon. It was basically the ANH saucer with the ANH radar dish, TFA docking rings, and TFA undersaucer. (Hence 5 legs but the wrong shape to the undersaucer pits)

Great Thanks! At 1/350 that's good enough for me for an accent piece.

True. I could make slightly more accurate pit interiors if there's interest. But they won't be correct, since the actual ESB pits were narrower, and slightly different shapes.

Well, I'm interested... I would redo the openings to match the ESB Studio Scale Falcon... That would be relatively easy at this small scale.

My OH bought me a Death Trooper and a Sand Trooper for Christmas! I had the chance to put the first of the duo together tonight. Never have I worked in so many shades of black and dark metallics! Weathered to reflect the Rogue One final battle. Some german grey and red brown in some of the crevices and armour dulled in places by dry-brushing clear... This is my favourite technique for weathering these Bandai troopers. It really gives an illusion of scale.

If it wasn't for those elbow joints, I would have sworn that was full scale! Awesome work!
