Bandai release schedule

As an aside, earlier shots of that slave made it look much bigger than the fine molds version. Does that mean that the fine molds 1/144 falcon was undersized as well?

If the size of 149mm is correct, the Bandai Slave 1 is actually a couple of mm smaller than the Fine Molds version at 151mm (according to HLJ).

Okay, prediction time. I'm going to say the first three TFA kits they announce will be the JJ-Wing, the JJ-TIE and a 1/10 JJtrooper. I suspect the JJFalcon, a more expensive kit if in 1/72, will be announced a short time later.

that sounds right to me too. I also wouldn't be surprised if they come out sooner rather then later since there haven't been any new announcements for quite some time. IIRC correctly, Slave-1 and Fett have been known for a really long time...like since the beginning. I say the first group may even be in Sept. If not deffinately Oct. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Falcon will be released in both 1/72 and 1/144. Can't wait for Friday to see what is coming! :D

Incredible......wow

Falcon looks mighty curvy

THAT'S what I'm talkin' about! Definitely closer to the 5-footer than the 3-footer. Those rear and side pictures are awesome! It looks like the mandibles are molded separate from the main dish since there's an undercut where they meet. Nice! That BB-8, however, has got to be miniscule at this scale. Like the size of a pin head!

These are SWEET! No need to mess with Revell's toy offerings. Thanks, Bandai!!!! Now, about those prequel kits... :D

This is so cool. Im a tad sad that there is no 1/72 Falcon but will definatly buy the 1/144 one and the new x wing aswell.

Any ideas of a release date?? Also judging from the Bandai page i think it may cost 5.400 yen so about £30 ish, if thats correct it is very good value for money, i hope im not wrong lol.

Just got the MPC falcon to finish atm so need some more projects to stock me up with. great times

X-wing and Falcon, end of October.

Count me among those who will wait for a 1/72 Falcon.

Sorry, edited my original post but appreciate your reply :). Im so pumped for these new kits. im going to buy both falcon's immediatly when avaliable.

The detail on the Falcon even at 1/144 scale is pretty amazing judging from the pics. im going to have a ton of faith on bandai bringing their high end easy build mantra to these kits. Im seeing a very screen accurate looking ship judging by the size of the mandibles and all the correct greeblies too.

Several of the X-wings will be mine! I may get the Falcon, but I'm not sure...not that big a fan of her. :$

Noticed some interesting Gear for the FO Trooper too. Also noticed the new standard TIE is not just a repainted OT TIE fighter. It has different connection point greeblies to the Solar Panels, an antenna on the back of the cockpit ball, and what appears to be extra guns.

Hell's yeah, that is a SWEET looking Falcon! Shame they wouldn't include the OT dish in the accessories, but, man it looks good for what it is.

....shame she's not 72nd.....but I'll give her a good home

I might get this.I love 1/144 falcons. I just don't like masking off their panels.

I notice that the engine grills must be photoetch, considering you can the the fan inserts. That's pretty cool. And I LOVE that there are figures. The hull overhang is pure win.

But one thing I'm gonna mention....and this is the elephant in the room..........those mandibles look pretty darn parallel.

don't shoot me

And I HOPE this falcon doesn't come with battle damage already on it.

Wookiepedia put the Falcon at 34.37 meters. At 1/144 that is 238.6mm. Wikipedia has it at 34.75 meters, which is... 241.3mm FWIW
