Never been a fan of Slave 1 though.
Blasphemy! It's one of the coolest designs in all of scifi.

I've always been meaning to ask: is the Revell Y-Wing the same mold as the old MPC "snap" kits?
So is there any word -- even rumors -- about whether Bandai has the license for TFA and the PT?
Thank you very much for that Blakeh1! Yes the Revell is far better than the ERTL. And your build makes it look really good. Finally got to see one built. From what I see in your pictures, I still prefer the FM & Bandai, especially the shape of the front apex of the engines. The Revell kit is not the old ERTL tooling. If your curious on how the Revell kit compares to the Fine Molds kit ...I got some side by side shots of it with the Fine Molds one

...overall I think it is fairly accurate shapewise and is probably closer in proportions and engine lengths to the Bandai one (which is based off a different studio model than the Fine Molds one)
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Bandai's original trilogy model kits. But I wish they'd say if they are doing anything for The Force Awakens, and if so, show what.
