Well, if we go with standard sizing (S, M, L, XL, etc), fit is going to be tricking anyway. I'll do some legwork and see what we can do.
I know the original shirt is supposedly made by a brand called “Shah Safari.” It was known to be a bit loose especially on the sleeves. Marty wore it with the sleeves folded up twice - three times from the looks of it on screen.

Do you think the shirt was a mens standard-sized shirt and that's why it looks loose on MJF? There are a couple of Shah Safari shirts available on poshmark and ebay, none exact, but one has elbow-length sleeves.

I’m not entirely sure for the fit of the body, but the sleeves are the noticeable features as the cuffs sit at the elbow or slightly below it.

I would assume that is correct in assessment. MJF is tiny. It would be like putting a kid in an adult shirt. A Men's small would probably looks baggy on him.

It wasn't "supposedly" made by Shah Safari Worldwide, it  was made by them. The sleeves on the shirt are cuffed normally, I think.

Yeah that’s also another problem with Max Cady, they forgot to incorporate the hashing look to the checked pattern.
