Not just those two colors, but the teal really pops almost as much as that orange. This thing is going to look incredible when it's finished (not that it isn't already!).

Guy, how are you doing the stains along the wing´s leading edge? I think on your 1/24 build you did them with masking and airbrush, but you told me if you were to do another one you´d do it with washes? Is that the case? Looks perfect, just like the ILM miniatures.

Thanks guys, I've only used latex masking on the orange spots this time around, all the stains or chipping are with oil paint at the moment, I've only done that area as a test and will try acrylics next to see which look the best, its just painted on with a brush like the original.

Cant wait to get it all done and really looking forward to using Jasons decals on it.

I havent scratch built this, its a kit that I've enhanced to be more like the B wing that I've chosen to paint, heaven forbid anyone think I've claimed to have scratch built this.

I will attempt to over time as this kit has inspired the hell out of me to do it myself, all plastic.....LOVELY.

Wonderfest is a fare old way away for me at the mo as i' in the UK, I dont mind if anyone want to chip in to send me though :behave
