Cheers bud

2 firsts for me this week

1st Decal has gone on, taking it up a level (thanks Jason, they're spot on mate)
And Phil will appreciate this, I've been using a product only available in the UK, its been integral to the painting on this B-wing. Cost wise they range from around £1 up to around £200 at Xmas............An ASDA receipt, excellent for masking and making templates :lol

I go away to Wonderfest and come back to this? YESSS!

Glad the decals work! Now that I have some breathing room post-WF, I'm going to build both versions!

For anyone that may like my colour choice?

I've kept the paint mixing down to a minimum on this build so I can go back and re do area's or touchup with out any major hassle.

Love gouache! It's just opaque watercolor - finely ground pigment suspended in a gum arabic solution with ground chalk/marble dust for opacity! (art supply nerd)

Thanks for the color recipe, too... might just ape you, as it looks the biz!

Yeh the gauche stuff is great I wont paint without it these days. Its great for wiping on with water to get that aged ILM look

Thats looking like a classic B Guy! And its probably the best example of its kind outside Lucasfilm currently. Great work on the accuracy of the build and the painting as usual! Thats a damn fine ship!

Not at all... just getting ducks in a row and test fitting, but soon - I feel the URGE. Your thread here is making it worse.
