Jon, cant stress enough how good a project this is. Its still the reason i click on this section daily for an update.
Love the work on the alloy, thumbscrews in the primary knuckles?
Seconded, thirded & fourtheded. THE thread in the general forum!. An epic build with some mad skills on show.
Love the machined alloy work, stunning mate!.
Best walker build Iv'e ever seen.
A few people have asked if this will be made into a kit. ......I'm sorry but no
It was never designed to be moulded and cast (there are too many uneven wall thicknesses
And undercuts For a start) and the cost of all the metal work would put most people off.
If I can ever help anyone make one for themselves then I will do what I can to help ,but a kit is for a braver soul than me to try.......
not had time to do too much 'cos of the flu ........
finished the hip plates and rear detail and tidied up a few areas i was'nt happy with ....
its too cold in the spraybooth to put any primer on so it will have to wait...
i've just realized i hav'nt pushed the rear detail plate all the way into the 223 part... oops ..
added more detail to the legs while waiting for the correct screws to turn up... hopefully in the next few weeks i'll get round to the lower legs....
can anyone help with the parts in the other pictures ?? i thought the part on the side of the body was from a jerry can but i dont think it is ....maybe part of a warship ??? any help would be appreciated
Truly stunning Jon, really amazing too this is all an in house project too, this thing has become my grail!
Part in pic two looks like Morser Karl, really poorly cast too ???
Thanks lee , I wil have a look there....
You should have a crack at making one ...looking at your models you'd do a brilliant job and if you ever need a hand you know where I am
