Lunar Lander Tourist Trap Diorama - WIP

I have a new progress photo from this morning. This will give you an idea about how the walkway will look on the final product. The walkway will have a light in the center of each of the round section and of course the lunar module will be on here when complete, as well as a few other details that still need to be added. I need to figure out a way to add some footprints around the lunar module, and a few other places as well.

Idea for the footprints: use sprue or a very small wooden dowel to make "left" and "right" feet stamps, then use wet sculptamold in tiny clumps, with the stamps pressed into them.

Hey Pengbuzz. I wish I started with this idea. As I'm looking at the current build, I don't think I'll be able to add footprints now without ruining the lunar surface Thank you for the idea though. I'll definitely store it away in my noggin for future use. I think when I make the video, I'll just say the footprints are too small to see, due to the scale of it, lol.

The last thing I need to do is make the American flag. Not sure if I'll make a pristine one, or a beat up one laying on the ground - from rocket wash. This won't pass the test for strict Apollo purists, but I'm hoping it's fun none the less!

I think I'm finally done!! Here are a couple of better beauty shots. I might double up the batteries to get a bit more current to the LEDS. There are quite a few going off from the 2 AA batteries I have powering them.
