Ah, that's why I missed it, one year before my time here, I'm a relatively new pup on da block lol!.
Had a look & WOW Phil, incredible buildup, much admired skills dude!.

If I were to ever do a scratch I'd make sure to incorporate a full working armature for sure, be calling on Dads machining skills to the limit judging by the layout of armature parts as seen in some ref pics.
