yeah for sure. I was also thinking today as I was working on my own DV6, the black inards of vintage graflexes are made of bakelite if I'm not mistaken, which can also be partly made of asbestos and sanding it or drilling it could cause cancer, so let's all be carefull when drilling into those inards to assemble our kits! :)

Obviously, I can't certify this is true and drilling that particular piece of plastic can be dangerous, but in situations like this, I prefer to be safe :) and it's better if people are also aware and apply caution :)

So, I found this switch at an antique store a few counties over.

First I’ve seen with contacts on the back, sections on the sides and a spring in the center

Unfortunately it’s hollow, not a heavier solid item with sections milled out like I feel the DV6 part is.

No maker mark, just F 78 printed into the plastic, and labels for the red, black and white wires
