hmm...I made it part of the shield because it's not being held by the person in any way and the halo of rays surrounds it like it's
Supposed to be part of the shield. I can bump it out a bit away from the surface of the shield if that'll help. I do want this to be
printable at Shapeways. At roughly the surface of the shield, it is "embossed". If I bump it out away from the shield then it is
a "wall" and subject to minimum wall thickness rules at Shapeways. I try to find a happy medium.

Thanks for the input. Don't be afraid to mention stuff like that.

Made a few changes, and bumped out the sword a bit. Used standard render instead of metal.

Ultimately, Ultraman and I have to team up. I produce an original coin and he casts copies and electroplates them. Until we actually try this,
we don't fully know what the result will be.

The only thing I can notice is that, comparing it with the picture Ultraman posted, it looks like there is a gap in the robe, whereas it is joined up in your most recent render.
Other than that it is looking fantastic!

I ran some image enhancement on one of the coins and I believe i've identified the detail on the leaves as twin snakes eating eachothers' tails.

The fig leaves appear to connect together behind them.

I put in what could be interpreted as snakes. As far as the "gap" in the robe, it is bigger in the concept art piece but much smaller in the coin piece. We want to copy the coin more than the concept piece. I put the gap back in but made it small.

Are we nearly there ?

If I were being super nit picky (less face it, that's kind of a hallmark of RPF folk) I think the gap between the figure and the leaves looks s little wider on the right hand side than it should be when compared to this pic:

Not so much up at her shoulders, but it just seems like an emptier spot near the bottom on yours, maybe swivel the lower part to right or build up the leaves to close it? I dunno, I'm happy being wrong, does anyone else see it?
