Ant-Man (Marvel Phase 3) Pepakura Build

Oh, just throwing it out there, if you need someone to unfold the model, just raising my hand as one of the first to lend a hand. It looks great already, don't mind the extreme details, those most of the time, don't translate into pepakura too well anyway, so it won't be a problem when it comes to fabricating them.

Weekend Update:
First sorry for the poor quality images, my wife an I are buying a house and have the Internet turned off in anticipation of the move. So weekend updates are from open wifi.

So I got the image slices into Blender:

I started on the mandibles first:

Again thanks for the feedback and opinions.
I would love some help with unwrapping it. As it is I only have about 3 hours of Blender time under my belt so this has been a real challenge.

Always wanted an Ant Man helmet pep file, now's the chance. Keep up with the awesome work and congrats on the new house!!

One more update before I hit the sack.

I got these big round details done on the back. If you kind of squint and turn your head they look like huge ant eyes...

One more shot with reference.

It's amazing how much I have learned of blender by just jumping in and doing...

Yeah dude Blender is awesome like that. Progress is looking great! Can't wait to see it finished.

Just FYI, Ctrl+F3 takes a screenshot from within Blender.

Found a working link to the video: Watch Ant-Man (2015) Movie Test Footage Online | Watch Free

I actually like the flash shrink/growth, it makes it more theatrical, though not realistic :/

Let me know if I can help out any ways I can (Yeah, you can tell I really want a pep for this :p ), once more pics become available, I may even start in on the suit.

Wow good stuff.... I had not seen that.
Anyone have a better shot of this image?

Not sure I have fallen in the love with the helmet piece yet so if anyone has some constructive knowledge on modeling a helmet / mask please send it my way.

No new updates other then I did not like the helmet section so I scrapped it to start over again. Ill have more tomorrow.

As I'm working on this a couple questions cross my mind.

1) I'm already looking to my next project. Anyone have any ideas or requests?
2) I don't own a copy of the Pepakura software, but that is because I'm a "Mac Man" is there anything similar for OSX?
3) The question I'm sure has crossed almost everyone's mind... As a hobby or spare time gig, how can someone go about making money doing this?

Off topic I know but hey it's my thread...

There is not a Mac OS version of Pepakura and to my knowledge nothing comparable exists. What you can do is download Virtual Box and install a Windows virtual machine and use that though.
