Anovos Star Trek:TOS Tunics and Dresses

No, the price isn't too bad.
Do I wish it were lower? Sure. I would stock my closet with tunics and be totaly happy, but at the end of the day Anovos is going to delever a stellar product and you don't have to worry about them taking your money and never delevering the goods.
I've had that happen to me. Over two hundred bucks and two years of frustration went to OrionWoman Raven Costumes and I never got anything to show for it but anger. I know others here have the same story. Raven, Joe K, ShadowDale, KathyP, their days of ripping people off is numbered, because most people (not really prop people, because we know better, but the average fan), will now purchase the licensed costumes that they find with a simple google search. And that's a very good thing.

For those prices I think I'll see if I can just get a pair of pants. My MurrayMousie tunic is pretty darn good, but I think her pants aren't quite there. Is it "screen accurate?" Nope - but close enough that anyone except people from here wouldn't know the difference, and that's good enough for me.
I wore my outfit for the Halloween contest at work and won first prize. I still get people calling me Kirk at work now.
Hopefully the boots are reasonable, if they ever do them...

Hey, just a heads up...
Anovos' Facebook page has a status update asking Trekkies to post there what they would most like to see next from their Star Trek line.
I voted for TOS Command Gold, but you can throw anything out there. Like Steve from the 1701st is pulling for TWOK Landing Party Coat. Go post whatever you want.

Ok. Anovos will open up the order window for the first two TOS items (eng tunic, sci dress) in March. Joe and Dana are releasing these products like a run right here on the rpf. Preorders, then manufacture and then shipping to those who got in on the run. This is to insure quality control and to insure that there is always something on the pipeline.

They will indeed, but in batch runs. So save up and be ready when the window for the products you want opens up.
I want Command Gold (DN and velour) and I can't wait for TWOKs! Though, with our first kid on the way...

They've had pre-orders for Sci (Blue), Eng (red) pre-orders are next in the que (for STAR TREK: THE NEW UNIVERSE that is), and Command? Well..."Command stunt just cleared approvals and trousers are still in prototyping stage"- ANOVOS posted that on their Facebook page on Tuesday. So...soon. Also, for fans of the non-Roddenberry version of STAR TREK, the following was posted just today:
"Trek: First day official day of Star Trek XI Black Undershirt development (technically phase II after research and planning) but exciting no less. Should have a prototype in the next couple of weeks. Regardless, would love to hear from you.",
and this:
"Trek XI : Working on the pants folks, hold tight. Everything is ready to go but to be honest, its finding vendors to drive the price down so that it can universally be enjoyed by everyone. I wouldn't pay $300 dollar for pants and nor should you."
