Anovos Star Trek:TOS Tunics and Dresses

RS1 - Yes. Same time - we also jumped the gun a bit and had Spock Tunics made in this batch as well :)

Temponaut: your words mean a lot and thank you. We're RPF Brethern and we take care of our own. We have an egg in our face with your pants situation so we apologize profusely!

DG : Thank you for your continued patience. They say that perfection is not attainable... we like to think it is or at least darn close. The only thing that we've learned from all of it is that the payment is time. We are in the final legs now and no one is more thankful than us!!

Havoc : We are working with CBS on NYCC - we plan on being there in some form :)

I just subscribed to their mailing list, hopefully it covers all their products and not just the one under which I subscribed. I am also curious about the limited production run, it seems to me that fans will be all over these costumes but will have to save up for them to some extent as well.

I'm curious also (apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, I didn't see it) as to the color of the gold command uniform. Is it screen accurate or original material accurate. As we know the original color was more green than it appeared on screen. Is this circumvented by using the 3rd season design?

I subscribe to their Facebook page and heard that the had a Star Trek NX Enterprise Uniform Promo, But I have been unable to locate anything about it.

I was wondering if anyone here has heard if they were going to Produce this Uniform?

Just a quick follow-up:

As anticipated, ANOVOS has resolved the Pants Affair quickly and positively.

To repeat, the quality of every item I've seen from ANOVOS is top-notch. Now I can say that their customer service is outstanding, too.

Still a fan! :love

Thanks, Got Maul.

I have no doubt that Pants Affair will be speedily resolved. I have been very impressed by the responsiveness of the ANOVOS team, which has already taken steps like adding a wider range of international shipping options at the request of its clients, and negotiating for a license to ship ST:TOS costumes internationally.

Again, the quality of the BSG product is remarkable. I think that ANOVOS has set a new standard in costume reproductions. If the ST:TOS pieces are in the same league, then these are the Trek costume reproductions I've been dreaming of for 40 years.

I don't know any of the ANOVOS team personally. I'm not shilling for friends. I'm just a collector with high standards, and ANOVOS has made a fan out of me. :thumbsup

The TOS Tunics will be shipping at the end of the first week of October.

They will be Set as well as Screen accurate so the 3rd Season Command Tunic should be Avocado Gold :lol

Hi all,

I did get an email from Anovos confirming that my Star Trek TOS Command tunic has been shipped (last Monday) ... I also recieved the shipment tracking number.

The destination is Canada and, thus, will take a little longer to receive as it snails its way thru customs.

Any one else with a similar progress?

After seven months of waiting, my ANOVOS TOS Captain Kirk Command tunic replica has finally arrived.
My overall comment: "Outstanding" and worth the wait.
In my eyes, it could have fooled me as being the actual screen used prop.

The material texture, color, insignia and braids are all spot on. The fabric is thick and not made of some 'cheapy' thin material. All seams/joints are strong-stitched.
The zipper, though, is a little tight and requires a little bit of effort to open/close, and the collar's two mini-clasp requires some finger dexterity (easier if a second person helps).

My biggest worry was the fit, given that you only had S, M, L, XL, ZXL choices only (no tailoring); but with my build of 5'7", 155 lbs, Medium-size suited me quite well (with a slight belly that simulated Shatner's third season weight gain ... oops, sorry Bill)

I must admit, I was initially skeptical on what I was going to get when I ordered, but now seeing what I've got, I wished I had ordered the Blue Science and Red Engineering Tunic as well to complete the set.

Here are a couple photos I'd like to share...
(the uniform was folded inside the delivery box and I have not yet ironed the tunic: thus a few minor wrinkles may be evident in the pics)
