We are a company owned by NECA and Rubies, two established companies with a long history in costumes and collectibles. We only have the Star Wars license, which we got this year, but as a service to fans, we are going to make Anovos' old backorders our priority.
If we are able to get the Marvel license we can help those customers with their orders.

It does seem that part of the deal with taking over this license is filling the orders people got taken for . I guess Time will tell . I feel for the collectors part of this never ending horror show .
Rubies already has costume licenses for Marvel and Trek, and licenses to produce low-end replicas of props from those IPs. You'd think adding the full-on high-end checkbox to those licenses would be pretty easy since they already have a working relationship, even if it's for a subsidiary...

I’m guessing there is a cost attached to that “upgrade” and they are already knee-deep in it with the Star Wars back orders. Assuming they got no cash out of Avanos (which seems plausible) they stand to lose a bit on this up front.

My guess is if they deliver on the SW merch; Marvel will come next. It would be a no-brainer for Disney.
Might take a while before you get your stuff, but it's not dead yet.

Isn't it possible that they made a deal to get the useful assets from Anovos; customer and backorder data, research and development files, molds, etc. to essentially get up to speed on a product line, and in exchange they fulfill Anovos' backorders and essentially absolve (or at least attempt to) Anovos from future liabilities or debts associated with unfilled orders? It would essentially give Anovos a way out of their predicament, at least potentially.
If they didn't do this, then they would have had to start from scratch to re-develop any similar products that Anovos has already worked on, which is a time and money cost anyway. This way they can go into production faster and if they fulfill the backorders, they can engender some good will and trust from the very people who are their target market.

I agree but it really depends on how large of a list we are talking about that they have to eat . How many Mando helmets can you sell to make up for that with so any already on the market now - EFX -HASBRO- PRIVATE ARTISTS ? I ended up going with the EFX for the sole reason that you had no idea what kind of paint job you were getting . Some were heavy some light no real paint scheme followed really for 800.00 ? ahh no

Still doesn't explain why you go to their website when you type in Anovos.com.
So, why are they trying to take care of Anovos orders if they are not affiliated with Anovos?

I had the one email (which I've posted somewhere up there ^) that states they will try and fulfill my order if they get the Trek license, so they must have the order details, however another email states this
I would still recommend you try to get a refund from your credit card. There is no guarantee that we will get it, and even if we do, we would not be able to see any activity on your credit card.
Someone Chime in if this makes sense... I've read over the different emails too many times so my brain is just frazzled. On a seperate note, I'm not going to be able to get a credit card refund... I paid from the U.K with a debit card, the money goes straight out of the account :/

It was part of their deal with Disney to get the Star Wars license in the first place. At least, according to them.
Until someone provides hard evidence that the people behind Anovos are involved with this new company, I see no reason to doubt their story. I'm eager to see the quality of the product they put out and to see the long overdue orders fulfilled.

Good question. Perhaps the Anovos name is so notorious now with the old law suits and the pending ones, that it would be impossible to restore faith in the brand. Simple. Change the brand name, associate your "new" company with more reputable partners and hope for the best.
Having a great product that everyone wants is only one small step in business. Manufacturing it and getting it to your customers is a whole different story that takes tons more work. Making a profit sometimes doesn't come until much later. I think some of these "new" businesses are paying the CEOs big paychecks before the company gets fully established. One little hiccup and down comes the house of cards.
DN is going to have to prove that they can make a great product and deliver before I'm going to give them any of my money.

They have only 4 helmets for sale and a couple caps it’s not a large offering I’m wondering if these were already made . Not sure about prices .
